    Thank you for your easy to understand instructive video. I have been told to buy the arches but not been told where exactly to place them in my shoes. I have used them for a little over a year, but I can s❤we from your video why they haven’t had full effect. Thank you.

    That was a very helpful video. Thank-you for making this. No nothing about orthotics, where to buy them, how to size them or who can provide that service. Any additional information on that would also be helpful.

    You explained this very well. Thank you so much! My podiatrist didn't even tell me about the pads. I learned about them by researching the problem online. Tight calf muscles seem to make the problem worse. I wish that I could get my calves to relax. The flexor hallucis longus (going to big toe) is tight as a guitar string.

    First thank you for providing some very helpful information. I'm wondering if you have videos/advice on PT rehab for a plantar plate tear. I have some idea based on reviewing all the videos but didn't know if you had any additional or specific ones for exercise and massage.

    Is it good idea to use adhesive metatarsal pad on flat insoles if i dont have completely collapsed longitudal arch? I have custom orthotics (in odler technologies), buty they dont fit into lighter shoes so I was wondering if this would be bad idea to jus use those adhesive pads.

    Also fold down the insole so that it’s possible to see how far up on the foot you are placing the pad

    I just found out of have Morton’s Neuroma under 2nd -3 3-4. I also have a thinning heel pad and need an orthopedic that has a deep cup and cushion on bottom of heel. Would that be something for custom orthotics. I don’t know anyone to make them . Like to try Trend labs - looks like hard bottom. Going nuts trying to resolve. Hope you can help

      Try living with it for 33 years... In both feet. Had mine removed at age 19. Instant relief. No pain for over ten yeas. SOLUTION!
      Today's doctors? No one will remove them. They want their TREATMENT money to never end. $$$$$

    That's much further toward the toes than most of the other demos I've seen. Now I'm confused.

    Is there a good solution for barefoot dancers? In pain in Hawaii!

      Keep the calves flexible. Use an orthotic with a met pad when not dancing to decrease constant irritation and strengthen the intrinsic muscles of the foot.

    How would you treat metatarsalgia with a hammer toe? Thanks

      This is what I would do for both.

    I place metatarsal pads on top of orthotic insole. Why do u put it on the bottom of insole?

    • @OrthoEvalPal
      @OrthoEvalPal  Рік тому +2

      Great question Pam! You can do it either way. I like to do it from underneath as to make the "bump" or pad more of a gradual support. 95% of the time, underneath.

    You provide some useful information about metatarsalgia. Your placement instructions are only useful if one uses the Treadlabs inserts. There are lots of other metatarsal pads out in the marketplace and other useful UA-cam videos that show how and where to place the pads if they are NOT Treadlabs. Maybe you are a sponsor for Treadlabs?

    Don't do it if you've had an operation on your metatarsal, all they do it create more problems.

    • @OrthoEvalPal
      @OrthoEvalPal  2 місяці тому +1

      Correct. You should not put a metatarsal pad over the surgical area.
