    I was about to go to bed after having done 3 strand twists on my head when I saw your technic to elongate curls. I just had to do it eventhough It's 2h30am where I am from. You made my very early morning lit 🔥😘😘

    I love the twist before the takedown, that is my go to style! I am a housewife with two boys so by the time I get done dealing with them AND doing my hair, a mf tied!

      awww, it's not easy being a mommy but I'm sure you're doing an amazing job and your kids love you for that! I also wear the twists just like that without taking them down too whenever I have a lot of work to do. Thank you so much for watching!!

    Yes I do the same thing (a lot less twists) but wear the twists stretched throughout the week and depending how they held up will take them down and wear a twist out for a day or two then do the same thing for the next week. Love this!

    I love this video. I pretty much do the same thing except I don't stretch the twists to each side in so many twists. I braid the twist and wear my hair up for most of the week. It would be great to see a tutorial on twists though. Thank you

    • @westafricanbaby
      @westafricanbaby  7 років тому

      yesss I do that too sometimes. I was contemplating doing that method for this video but I figured some people might not know how to braid so I just did this instead. That method works just as well as this one. Thank you so much for watching love!

    2) I have such a hair crush on you and 3) Please do a detailed video on how to twist sometimes I feel like I'm twisting my hair correctly because everytime I take it down it doesn't look defined.

    Love this look, I'm going to try your moisturizing technique to hopefully get more definition in my twists. How long do the twisting and unraveling take?

    • @westafricanbaby
      @westafricanbaby  7 років тому +1

      thanks love! it depends on how many sections you do and how fast you are when it comes to twisting. When I do 60, it takes me 2hours to 2hours and 15 minutes. If you're doing fewer sections like 30 or 40, for instance, it should take a shorter time. unraveling is pretty quick, less than 45 minutes generally.

    I will try this when my hair grows to the length I want it to be. Can you do a video on how to do box braids? I transition one year now and I am currently trying to grow my hair using mainly braids, crochets and cornrows. I am currently unable to comb my own hair, all because I am not gifted in that area, however I definitely want to learn. I can twist, plait, as Jamaican's call it. I can also comb my hair in a bun. However I really don't know how to braid my hair using extension for example a box braid or even to cornrow my hair. Really want to learn so please help me if you can.

    I love the results of your braid outs and twist outs. We have similar hair type but my hair is a few inches past shoulder length when stretched. I have tried so many products from mousse, gels, creams and butters. I have tried it on freshly washed/deep conditioned hair, blow dried and not and it looks defined right after the take down then a few hours later no definition just frizz. I like the puffy fro I end up with, but sometimes I want the look of a braid out and twist out that lasts longer than an hour or two, forget about a week! What do you think i am doing wrong?

    I’m a 4c but it seems like my hair isn’t growing . If anything it’s falling out so much !

      @westafricanbaby  7 років тому +3

      lool to be very honest with you, on most nights, I just go to bed like that because I'm tired and lazy and I don't mind the shrunken look the next morning. however, on the nights where I don't wanna be lazy, I put my hair in about 6 big twists before I sleep. I'm gonna make a video on how to preserve the twist out pretty soon.
