Very useful video, thanks for taking the trouble to film it
Always best to crack open the allen bolts before removing caliper as some might be tight and caliper will twist in your hand trying to undo them, Thanks.
Awesome step by step education by man cave .great vital information and tips I say hats of to you.and the mighty bandit

Thanks for getting back to me I'm not a newbie I do my own maintenance but bought a suzuki gsx650f so dismantling was different to my 125cc Thanks again.
Thank you Dave for your video ! You have a good expérience my friend. A bientôt !
Thanks Dave. Need to clean my calipers so this was very useful
Thanks for watching my video 👍
Thank you! Extremely clear and helpful! ... going to replace mine now :)
Thank you for watching my video and supporting me 👌👍
Would it be possible to change pads without taking the caliper off, just removing the pin and the spring cap?
I’m sure you can but it’s nice to clean it all up,
Thanks for watching my video and supporting me 👍
Can anyone tell me if the process/procedure is the same for a Gsx 650F,
The brakes appear to be the same. I own a emaculate GSX 650F 2008 model none ABS BRAKES. HERE IN THE US THIS BIKE IS QUITE RARE AND PARTS AND INFORMATION ON THIS SIDE OF THE POND ARE HARD TO FIND AND PRICEY. SO I'M HOPING, SOMEONE ACROSS THE POND CAN HELP ME WITH SOME INFORMATION AS REQUESTED ABOVE THANK YOU FOR YOUR TIME AND ADVANCE AND I APPRECIATE AND LOVE SEEING ALL OF YOUR BIKES AND THE COMMUNITY AROUND THEM THANK YOU. P.S ANY torque setting for any of the brakes mounting bolts or Allen or bolts for the guide pins. I spent 200.00 on a OEM repair and owners manual directly from SUZUKI it took 3+weeks to arrive and it in 100% Japanese. So PLEASE HELP ME IF YOU CAN!
Thanks for the video, would this be the same for a Suzuki GSX s 125cc
Should be very close to it. Thanks for watching my video 👍
would you lube that cross pin or would that trap dirt? I'd feel better using a torque wrench on the caliper bolts myself. Having said that, the opposite caliper should save the day if it sheared off. Yikes
Cross pin thread only pin shaft of pin lube will stop pads moving so called freely ..
Best pads?
To be honest not to chore my friend always had Suzuki brand 👍
