Jimmy is the kind of chef I would love to try his food. He comes forth as honest, hardworking, sincere and above all, a family man. I will be heading to Taichung and Taipei this year and I would love to try one of his restaurants. From one Singaporean to another - all the best chef Jimmy.
Well done and thanks for making Singaporean proud too. Jimmy is smart. He is very farmiliar with Singapore dish so he decide to make it Singapore style for his fine dinning in Taiwan is the best plan. He definitely can excel in such cooking style. Also the food will attract more Taiwanese to try out too. Win win situation.
I like it as this is how Singapore takes the "insults" and reinvent it to make it great. The Little Red Dot came from Habibie hurling insults that reminds Singapore that it is nothing more than a little red dot ( in the map! ). And thanks, to the Cotton man, " I'm Singapore" came about. What don't kills you, make it great and stronger ! Bravo ! Another meme to make Singapore.
Crudo to Chef Jimmy, agreed 100% he made Singaporean proud as good food is the best communicator that go beyond races, cultures and religious. He shows the world the nature of our little red dot through his creations; details-oriented, diligent and passion. Rozz, however, please take off your cow nose ring, it doesn’t represents us and your exaggerating exclamations “ Hot ! Hot!…” certainly does not make us proud!
Rozz need to learn to respect the people she interviewing. The Taiwanese chef already replied her in Chinese because he wasn't able to communicate in English. She replied him in Chinese but whenever she asked him she will auto use English.
Michellin star is all big BS, just another marketing tool. Its just another reason to let operators charge exorbitant prices! Food taste are subjective, it taste different to every indiv. You cook for people to enjoy, not to gain fame and reputation.
Yeah, I got the feeling that the budget for the graphic designers to make these transition animations are unlimited. The editor ask them how much, and they just said "Yes." It was so over the top and tacky. It needs more time in the oven and cooking guys.
@@fcsolis customers pay fr every little artwork or sculpture. I was watching this british chef preparing a meal. Someone asked him whats the difference putting in button mushrooms or not. It wwsnt integral to the dish. He cheekily replied’ £2 each! 😏. Anthony Bourdain also said most french cooking is a lot of butter and cream. So youre paying fr every little bit! 😯

If it really taste exactly like hor fun then why will i want to pay high price for abalone that taste like hor fun? I rather pay higher price for abalone taste not hor fun taste.

There's another two chefs in the Nordic regions, one helming the kitchen of the famed Noma. Maybe you should check them out too.

I don't think I can eat food prepared and presented that way. I'll be thinking I'm eating a piece of chewy sculpture. Thank you.

Both cumin and coriander are used in various Western cuisines.
Everyone in the kitchen is wearing a mask except the interviewer.
6:27 chef and host both no wear mask
How to say you’re Singaporean without saying you’re Singaporean. Hahahahaha
Make any local dishes into French dining. U get Michelin stars
Ya lor just make the food gimmicky with a god awful portions and you get an award from a tyre company.

Exactly like any hor fun?
Hmm did they wash the sauce squeezer after every single diner? If not then i am concerned about the hygiene issue.

If she blind tasted it and tastes just like any horfun at any hawker centre, then it's not worth paying the exorbitant michelin prices for. hahaha
