Tim is such a talented singer/song writer! Tim's mother is in a couple of videos. In their video "The Story of My Life", she's in the last scene. His mother also appears in one of the "Home Away From Home" series about Tim and in Tim's video about a claim broil (his sister, brother-in-law, nephew and most of Home Free are in that one as well).
Love this and now that I know he is adopted it’s even more special. He does not have kids. Adam Rupp and Rob have the kiddos in the group. The both have a daughter and a son. I wish Tim would have kids, he and Jenika are so talented you would love them to pass that on. Maybe in the future. His kids are his kitties and doggies. Get better soon!
I wish I'd heard this before my niece's wedding. As an adopted child, she absolutely would have loved this, and I guarantee she would have played it at her wedding. This should be the anthem for all adopted people who ended up with good families. It speaks to so much in the relationship. Thank you for sharing this, DJ. Take care of yourself and feel back to normal soon.
No kids for Tim and Jenika. There are 4 Home Free kids -- Adam and Ericha's Cerise and Brayden, and Rob and Kelsey's Lydia and Charlie. But Tim does seem to be a wonderful uncle.
This song is just so completely and utterly lovely. I love the sentiment behind it, the truth in every word is evident. Tim Foust's writing is always fantastic, especially when he speaks from his heart. Thank you for this reaction DJ! The fact that you feel so much affection for your own Mum is obvious to anyone and I love that you enjoyed this song so much.
This is one of Tim's most beautiful and personal songs. He is a master at finding the perfect words to say the deepest meanings in the simplest way. Loved hearing your reaction to this. Thanks
It is special when someone writes a song that puts into words something you feel in your own heart. Good mums are special gifts and we should be telling them how much we love and appreciate them.
The song is beautiful, as is the relationship Tim has with his mom. The line "It was dumb luck" hits even harder when you think about the fact that Tim is adopted. Tim does not have kids, but has written songs for nieces and nephews. Adam Rupp and Rob are the two that have kids.
Thanks, DJ. Great reaction. This is as good or better than anything you hear on the radio. It’s a shame that so many people don’t get to enjoy independent music. ❤
I love that he wrote this for her. He is adopted and this is just to show her how much he loves her and is thankful for her.
Tim's "kids" are currently the furry variety and adorable!

Love this one. When Tim is around Dena, he seems so happy to be showing off his lovely Mom.

Such a beautiful song in both music and lyrics. I love that you love your Mom DJ! Thank you for your reaction x
Such a beautiful song, and heartfelt reaction. It hit even harder for me when I learnt Tim was adopted himself.
