Did you happen to see the video where TSO is performing in Times Square, NY, the first Christmas after Daryl passed away? I don't know if it's still up to view, but it was so nice, but sad because he always wanted to play there. The did this song and most of the time kept the camera on a standing microphone, with a scarf draped to it in memory of Daryl.
It is 2022 and it's summer time and I am listening to this , missing Ossie Davis but especially RIP Daryl Pediford your voice still touches my heart ❤️🙏🏽
This is sort of the song that sticks with you and compels you to listen to it the moment you think of it. I wish I had gotten to see Daryl Pediford sing in person.
I got to see Daryl perform at my first TSO show. MAN what a stage presence he had. I could have listened to him all night long. Then meeting him afterward, such a nice and gracious man. RIP Diamond Daryl Pediford, you are missed! - A fan.
Same here. Seen him my first TSO concert. Went every year for about 19 years. Sometimes more than one concert a Christmas season. Daryl P. and David Z. we're my 2 favorites, but David passed 4 years ago. Went to 2 concerts after that. TSO is still amazing, but for me, just not the same without those two.
"I got the candle lit for you to see And beside this window I will wait For inside this night I know it's not too late" These lyrics have gotten me through so much and has given me hope many times when I thought all hope was lost.
Belated sympathies Yvette. I heard your brother on PBS tonight for the first time. I was so impressed that I had to find out for myself who he was. A truly amazing voice.
"...I got the lights upon the Christmas tree I got the candle lit for you to see And beside this window I will wait For inside this night I know it's not too late"
='( I miss him very much. I had the pleasure of him actually singing this song personally to me, and that memory will last forever. Rest In Peace, Darly-you will be greatly missed.
Thank you for posting this. I got to Meet DDP once, hes was sweet man and the best rhythm & blues singer in teh world. He is missed. The show just isnt the same without him. :(
Makes me sad truly to know he passed away because its a family tradition i guess you could say to listen to the Christmas carol dvd every Christmas since i was almost a baby and this being my favorite song it really did hurt and im only 17
I got to see them tonight in Little Rock, Arkansas. It was their first time to play here since 2016. I couldn't catch the name of the young man who sang "Music Box Blues" tonight, but it was clear Darryl's original vocal performance influenced him. Darryl would have been proud to hear him tonight.
Been searching this video for decades. Finally found it today, 2nd April 2022. RIP Daryl, but your voice will live forever♥️
Glad someone else appreciates this video it is one of my favorites
I found it on 11-5-2022
I have the complete video

Daryl Pediford's voice is a spiritual experience one can not forget.
No one will ever sing music box blues with the passion Daryl shows. Rip
This is one of my most favorites songs by Trans Siberian Orchestra. The singer has alot of of passion in his voice.

WOW I hate to hear he has passed on too, I just seen this performance last night for the first time. I love his voice, reminds me of Michael Bolton.
What a precious gift he had.

@@2004mojo I don't even remember making this comment, haha, I was 17 when I made it. But thanks for answering it anyways.
@@SportsLuvr You're welcome. Even though it was a really old post , I said to myself since I know the answer I'll go ahead & reply . (lol)
