Your first couple of statements threw me for a loop cause I thought you were going to talk about the governments and political structures of the region. It is undeniable that that region is the cradle of knowledge, culture and arts. The summit of human ingenuity. You just need to walk around the Giza plateau to see the evidence firsthand. And there were other great civilizations in the Americas as well. But from a political perspective, none of the people of the Middle East had ever had a sustainable form of representative self ruled governments. The same goes for the Chinese and Asia in general, by the way. Fortunately the Ottoman’s did not extend that far east, and were stopped by the Europeans advancing West.
