Those Umbro kits from that era were absolutely banging. Loved the whole Tailored by Umbro stuff. Way way better than the rubbish Nike knock out for England. That was a lovely lovely kit.
Easily the best kit Madrid have had for many many seasons, Adidas in general have really raised their game for this season, even for their non elite teams.
I have found this channel out of blue but it is blessing to learn your insight onto kits as well stories behind it. Hope you will reach greater heights ❤️
Nice content gents. I would love to see some reviews of more obscure kits from lesser known teams &/or manufacturers. Also some comparisons of classic/retro shirts and the modern interpretation.
Great video! If possible, it would be nice to show a picture on screen when you are talking about another design. Like the Umbro England kit, I'd like to see the full team advertising shoot you talked abou
Really enjoy these videos, so insightful! Keep up the good work lads. It would be interesting to see a video of you reviewing the official fan version in comparison to the cheaper 'DHGATE' fake versions of the shirts to show the difference.
I never realised Rob was responsible for that particular England shirt. Good work fella. My absolute favourite home shirt. I immediately loved the red and white colourway and it really soes feel gorgeous on. Ive got the short sleeve version( randomly found in a Budapest thrift shop 😆) and the long sleev, (finally hunted down on ebay last year) I managed ro find a very unusual purple version of it on ebay too, I cant ever remember seeing it, at the time but I love it. As someone else said that whole "Tailored by Umbro" range was fantastic. Ive got a very smart presentation jacket from it. 👍 Oh and I do like that Real shirt 😆
Did Rob work on the Wales umbro kits? Particularly the one with the yellow and green stripe through the badge? The one Bale wore when he scored a late winner against Scotland.
@@TheKitBreakdown Thanks for the reply Rob. One of my favourite Welsh Kits. We hadn't really seen yellow and green used since the 1970s so it was a great call back and modern take. Interesting to see that Wales have used yellow and green a lot more frequently in recent years. Keep up the great videos with Craig, really appreciate them 👍
Do you consider the PL font and patches or team specific font and patches) design when designing shirts and how they correspond with each other? And do you also design the clubs cup namesets or is that done by others and is there any discussion around this between stakeholders? Would make a really interesting video!
Hi guys. Been enjoying your content. I was wondering whether you could do an analysis vid of fake kits vs original kits. There's so many fake kits these days and it's almost impossible to tell sometimes. 😂
I've recently found this channel and absolutely love it! the in-depth look into kit design has been great to watch. Can i ask if Rob was involved in the irish centenary kit? I was so happy to get one, the choice to go with the blue and gold was different but brilliant.
Hey guys, love the vids and insight. As always, some very interesting points from two top professionals! I'm an editor / motion graphic designer and if I could impart some advice for you that I think may help grow the channel and possibly your wallets - I was browsing your site and saw the prices you were selling your courses. My advice is that they're way too cheap for the skill and knowledge you're imparting. I don't know if that's by design but in the motion design sphere, courses are upwards of 100-200 depending on the topic. The level of detail, skill and career knowledge here I think is crazy valuable. Anyway, just my two cents, I've spent a lot on courses over the years, I don't think folk would be too upset if you bumped up the price based on their inherent value :)
@@craigbuglass8434 I think Norwich, West Brom & Plymouth are some of the best this season. They also add manufacturer variety to your content, as they are a step away from the normal Nike and Adidas.
@Warp75 Yeah, it didn't well with alot a lot of irish fans, not me, tho mostly I don't watch international games because ireland are crap lol. But I really like the l irish shirt
@@nathyq1 Evan Ferguson at my club is going to be a superstar. RDZ is not overplaying him & using him smartly. He will end up playing a lot this season I’m sure.
Once again came with high hopes and left disappointed. An 11 minute review comes with a 3.30 minute of self advert which I don't mind if that would have been compared with the shirt in question, but a few important misses in the review in my opinion. 1. The Hala Madrid patch in the rear of the collar comparison between Player & Fan version 2. Comparison of the fabric vs Nike & Puma for fan as well as player version 3. The side knitting description, weight of the shirt when wearing is another miss. I'm sure I'll come back again with a Nike Barcelona kit review done by you and it would be a complete contrast to what I saw here. As an ardent football shirt collector with over 200 shirts in my kitty, Guys leave aside your bias for some time is a suggestion but ultimately it's your own channel and your decision

Love the content! Please make a video about the Venezia kits - the hype the last few years has been immense
personally the secondary colour of a Real Madrid should be a light purple.
This channel is simply the best for people who are into football shirts. You share so much knowledge🔥 Truly inspirational.
Thank you! That's great to hear and really kind of you to say - Rob

Absolutely love the Tailored by Umbro shirts!! Very classy and great to wear casually. Accept it can't be ideal if playing in likes of Burkina Faso 😂

Would love to see you guys review Roma's away kit for this season.
Hey guys, would u look at the irish kit manufacturer o'neills as l'd love to get you thought about the stuff they do
That england kit is so class and underrated. Always preferred the england shirts with more red than blue.
would like to see your opinions on the Kaizer Chiefs and Orlando Pirates kits.

Sanfrecee Hiroshima kit is audacious
As a Mexican, I would love to see you review Mexican league kits and brands (Charly, etc).
Noted! We'll see if we can get some!
I’ve always felt Adidas replica kits are superior to Nike replica kits

Every time I see a RM home shirt where the secondary colour isn't lilac a little piece of me dies. Honking.
Chevy new Napoli jersey, last season EA7 made the worst looking kit but this season they made it fire
As an irishman it pain me to say how much I like that England shirt lol 😆 only because the red makes the shirt imo

Real Madrid kits peaked in 2002
Prem away kits plzzzzz
Normally Real kits are always classy. The lad Bellingham as taken to Spain like a duck to water & that is no surprise.
Aren’t the Madrid kit is exactly the same as Man United? And yes the Madrid colours are way better, but the finishing are the same.
For me it’s far more refined and the colours all work well.
Hello sir, try buying the Indonesian National Team Jersey, 2022-2023
Its simple. Adidas puts in effort always wants to improve.
Nike os lazy and just does change for the sake of change rather than any attempt to improve
Now I did like this one:)
whats everyone else thinking....

I can't understand the love for any Real kit, absolutely bland every single time.
It’s really tough to work with a white shirt, for sure!
