The 2019 Celtics draft class is one that many Celtics fans have forgotten about but it was AWFUL. Shockingly after a couple seasons none of these guys are on the current Boston Celtics roster.
Draft order:
Pick 14: Romeo Langford (Indiana)
Pick 22: Grant Williams (Tennessee)
Pick 33: Carsen Edwards ( Purdue)
Pick 51 Tremont Waters (LSU)

Langford is a good player he just can’t stay healthy to save his life, Grant is a good role player and can contribute to any team, Waters and Edwards just couldn’t find minutes

When you draft 4 guys and 2 of them are tiny guards, you aren't building a team right at all.
Nice review. Sometimes I wonder what happened to whoever. FOr the record, the worst draft class of all time was the year we drafted Len Bias, who was supposed to inherit the Cs dynasty from Larry Bird, and then he died of a drug overdose before ever playing.
If you thought this draft was bad, check out some of their draft picks from the Chris Wallace GM era (90s-early 2000s), not just bad players but the future superstars they passed up.

This probably can't be the worst draft class due to Grant Williams - he's not great but he has started a lot of games and signed a near 50 million dollar deal. There are certainly other draft classes out there where every single guy was bust

Grant Williams was very so happy he left so he could get a bigger role. But he would be exactly what the Celtics need for the Celtics now.
God no. They are playing better without him. Hauser is bringing everything he brought without hyping up the opponent every night and Hauser can dunk with 1 hand.
G.Willians is very inconsistent player.
I never liked Grand on the team. Not on a team with Tatum and Brown. Those 2 need a big and 2 guards, not what Grant is. He's a decent player but I just don't think they need a ground bound 3 and 3 "big." Waters was always pretty solid but I've said it before, if he was only 3 inches taller he would be putting up 20 a night in the league with like 8 assists. Edwards peaked in the 3rd quarter of a preseason game and just forgot how to shoot after that. This draft was bad. Not just the players, but they guys they got for what the team needed. Even if any of these guys popped, it would just keep the Celtics as an undersized team like they were for years and it killed them every year. Danny got a ton of picks and drafted like he picked names from a hat.
I wouldn't call this one the worst draft of the Celtics. Even if only Grant Williams was the one who panned out. The Langford trade got the Celtics Derrick White. 2016 was worst, imo. Outside of Jaylen Brown, the C's missed on Siakam, Murray, and Brogdon.
How can a draft class with Jaylen Brown be the worst. Did you even think that through? They didn't miss on Murray, they chose Brown and I'm still happy with that, and you can't say guys drafted in the late first and second round were "missed."
@@bpdmf2798 That's why I qualified my statement with "outside of Jaylen Brown". Yabu was expected to be a Draymond-lite. I was talking about Dejounte Murray not Jamal Murray.
But, your guy Brad Stevens did this. The only player this organization draft that helped us was Grant Williams. The reason organization do dumb draft pick decisions is because they don’t understand Talent. Brad is no exception. He and Daddy Boy made this silly picks. This is not new news. Every real Boston Celtics fan that respects the Uniform more that the players knows what the organization did.
brad clearly had no hand in drafting these guys or trades/signings before he took over considering he got rid of just about everyone not named tatum and brown the second he took over
