knowing that the president was once just "a guy on the floor" kinda changes my perspective a bit. Ultra rare to see something like that. Thanks for sharing, mate.
I LOVE your trip videos dude ! Edited and filmed with taste. Your little chat about your first pedals reminded me of the first Rob Chapman Band videos where you actually used your 2 Boss delays.
i look around my studio, boss pedals on the floor, roland jdxi in one corner, rc 505 in the other, katana 50 at my feet. theres boss or roland literally everywhere in my room
Ive never been a Boss "fan" necessarily, but Ive always respected them for what they do and how they do it. They are inventive. They keep prices reasonable. They make products that work as advertised. They make products that last. To me...Boss has been the standard for many years in the pedal market. They are the bar that other companies have to work towards. Much respect Boss.
I love Boss gear and use their pedals exclusively. Reasonably priced, built like tanks (my original MT-2 still looks almost new), and easy to use. If you have no idea what to do with the pedal, plug it in, set the knobs at noon and it sounds great.
Nice job on the trip video. I’m envious of the BOSS and Roland visits. I’ll join you next time-just let me know. I’ve been to Tokyo three times in the past six weeks and drove past northern Hamamatsu twice last month. 🚗💨
My first pedal was a Boss DS-1, I wish I hadn't lent it out years ago...never to be seen again. I miss the little guy, oh the memories. We'd stay up all night and tell stories about being on stage together, 'twas quite memorable.
Never really think highly of Boss but when I look around my room.... 5 x vintage pedals, A GT5 from ‘90s, a Roland RD300NX keys.... It’s funny really when people asks what gear I own and I usually talk about something else when Boss products are always around and here to stay
So glad you had a great time Bea! I visited Japan back in 2000 and indeed, it feels a bit like you're on another planet. I only got to spend time in Tokyo, but we did go to Shinjuku and Akihabara. The people in the arcades were indeed super crazy! The businessmen going after work and playing and dancing were pretty off the hook too. Thanks for sharing your experience, it brought back many pleasant memories - including buying really awesome rare CD's in Hard Off! :-)
Thanks for coming to Japan! If you ever find yourself coming out again and need a free interpreter, feel free to call - would be more than willing to help! Glad you enjoyed your time here. I might just have to try and visit that Roland museum. And I love my Katana too!
I've always wanted to go to Japan as well as China. This vlog made me want to go even more so now. So many music shops! Great job on the filming and editing by the way. Nice to know that the owner of one of my favourite gear companies was an on the floor dude at one time. Ola killed me with the fan as well.
Love my Boss Katana 50 , waiting on the Boss MT-2W Metal Zone sweetwater says coming soon whatever soon means. My first guitar was a Teisco Del-Ray I got for christmas 1970, I should have kept it.
I've been to Japan about four times now - I still feel like I landed on a (nice) but alien planet. It's hard to get out to the country to look around but I made it to the slopes of Fujisan. I'm in the music business too. Best, Pete.
This video really exemplifies why Boss is the most appropriately named company in the world. They are Boss. The dedication and commitment to music and the customer , via superior Product design and execution is .. well.. Boss!
Sweet videography. The music and slow mo in the busy streets really captured a serenity of the place, though Im sure at the time it would have been really fast paced and loud. I would recommend adding a black outline to your white text at the end, or blur out the footage because the text does seem to get lost. What camera do you use?
Dude, sick B roll footage on this! Quick tip: Peter McKinnon made a great video on how to remove that neon sign flicker from your footage, it's super simple.. I highly recommend it haha. Beautiful work anyway as always man!
Love this....

Thanks Dan. Coffee out of the nose and into the keyboard.

the first thing that came to my mind xD
I move back to Japan in about a month and I'm super excited. I love it there. The people and culture are so spectacular.
I went one month ago for the first time. Tokyo, Kyoto, Osaka and Tokyo again.
This is one of the nicest culture and most friendly people of our time!
I LOVE your trip videos dude ! Edited and filmed with taste.
Your little chat about your first pedals reminded me of the first Rob Chapman Band videos where you actually used your 2 Boss delays.
The slomo shots are breathtaking! You are becoming a great shooter!
This editing is 10/10 my guy
Just got my Boss Katana 50 for Christmas and love it. Thank you to all the great people at Boss who created such an awesome amp.
Dude, the way you edted that first walk in Tokyo is sooo well done! love it!
I love your blogs like this. They’re so well produced and made, editing an all. They’re so aesthetically pleasing.

I started playing in the 80s and BOSS has never not been at my feet, and I don't think I will ever change that. I love their pedals I own.
Ive never been a Boss "fan" necessarily, but Ive always respected them for what they do and how they do it.

I’m glad you liked it here.
Been living in Tokyo for 18years now.

Boss rocks. Name says it all. And kudos on that outro, rabea. Thanks for sharing, mate
Such an awesome trip. Thank you for capturing all of that cool video and sharing it.

Great!! Welcome to Japan!!
That city sequence was beautiful. Great filming.
Probably your best video to date Bea. Loved it man!
Lots of visual candies in this. So impressed!
Lovely editing with the slow mo / speed ramps and super zooms.
So cool, this make me wanna go back to Japan to bad !!
I want more!! Living the life. Thanks for posting. Loved it.
Amazing experience, man! So glad you got to go, I'm a big fan of all things Japanese and can't wait to visit. Great camera work, too!
Excellent video, I would love to go to Japan! Glad you had a good time
What a great watch cheers Rabea.
Damn you took some really nice shot, what camera are you using ?
This is still one of my favorite videos on UA-cam.
Rabea, just going to add to the other comments about your stellar video editing! First walk in Tokyo was sublime. Thanks, hope you had a great time!

Hahaha
That made me laugh way harder than it should've. 😂
That’s exactly what I thought😂
Was thinking the same lmao
Videography on point, as ever!
Was the tune from 16:23 onwards your own? It really compliments the visuals.
I'd like to know this tune as well.
I finally found it: Memory Rain - Silver Krueger
Japan is awesome
Great video Bea. You did a great job of capturing the ambience with the editing.
As always @RabeaMassad , You rock !!! Amazing video bro ! Keep it real !
The production quality of this is soooo top notch! Phenomenal job!
I went to Japan for 3 weeks and ended up staying for 7 years on and off.
And boss pedals are awesome.
Nice job on the trip video. I’m envious of the BOSS and Roland visits. I’ll join you next time-just let me know. I’ve been to Tokyo three times in the past six weeks and drove past northern Hamamatsu twice last month. 🚗💨
Ochanomizu guitar street was next to Akihabara station!
My first pedals were a BD-2 and CH-1! Gosh darn this was fun to watch, amazing cinematography and places!

I lived in Tokyo for 5 years, your video brought back some fond memories! BTW, I went to every Hard-Off store I could find, LOVED that store!!!

ah, i was waiting for this since i saw ola's side of that trip. great camera work, great background music and a great shot of ola being ola.
I worked in Shinjuku for a year or two...some great times.

Thanks for sharing your trip to Japan, especially the tour inside BOSS. I owned many of those vintage pedals. Too bad I sold all of them. 🤨

Some wonderful B-Roll in this video. Great vlog Boss are cool
21:11 Quite the background music.
This made me want an Ola and Rabea tune... riffs for days
Ola with the fan tho..hahaha!!!
Gave me a good chuckle as well. Somewhere down the line I want to see a Ola/Rabea jam. I think their styles would be interesting together.
no doubt! "RabeOla" It's what's for dinner! ha ha!! \,,,/

I just acquired my first Boss pedal and I absolutely love it. I need to own more Waza Craft! Simply a quality product.
I really like your travel videos. Good content
Beautifully shot video, man!!
Hey Bea, awesome vlog. Thanks for bringing us along. Sharing your experiances with us. The people in the arcade, that was sick. \m/
Very informative video. You have a high standard for integrity for sure.
I've had to deal with Boss/Roland a few times in the past 10 years, for pedal issues, and their customer service has always been top notch. 11
Yoo Rabea the song at 2:10 is sooo tight i love the production on your vlogs
18:18 LOL you guys sang Dragonball Z theme song
Very cool video, thank you for sharing.

What a stunning place! That was some ridiculous gaming there.
I love how Ola looks like an owl viking
You know, now that you mention it...
You've completely changed my perspective of Ola. Thanks...

It looks like you had a great time. I was hoping to hear some audio of you playing in that super foam room.
dood that kareoke guy was so cool!!! he needs a youtube channel!
awesome video!
Nice vid, mate. Shame you couldn't show more of Roland/Boss. Maybe a part two?
Lot's of people dying to know the music at @16:40!
it's Prodigious Mutants by Mitchell Doxon
Song: Memory Rain
Artist: Silver Krueger
Album: Crazy Eyes
I couldn't find it on spotify, but you'll probably find it in the UA-cam library
I bought a Katana because of YOU!! I love it. Go BOSS / Roland!

Love the Lofi beats 🤘
Oh, nice, I didn't know Ola could manage to play some "piano" ! and the "love theme" of the Empire Strikes Back besides that !!
they never have those slippers in gaijin sizes!!! Pet peeve of living here
Epic vlog of an amazing trip. My first pedal was a PH-2 too :)
He was singing the Dragonball Z theme!!😂😂😂 nice
