Long overdue video but here we are!! If you enjoyed this Mini doc and want to see more like this drop a like on the video! And if you’re new, subscribe for more :)
I highly respect your work, and I look forward to your videos. You are truly my mentor from afar. Whether I meet you one day or not, know that you are having a huge impact on some of us. Thank you
Duuuude! I like your videos. This one went above and beyond. I knew very quickly I was watching something deeper yet still you. Thank you. This was awesome.
Amazing work, you respected the country and the medium you are working with, Japan and analog photography deserve we take the time. Thank you for this beautiful documentary and for sharing your thoughts on your craft, its evolutions, your doubts. I hope this format get the kuddos it deserves to push you in this direction for my selfish pleasure!
Man my jaw dropped a few times seeing the awesome photos and beautiful shot video! Japan is still one of my top places to try to go see and try to get cameras and take photos.
I am impressed with this episode. You've made a wise decision to shoot street at night. The colorful neon signs brought the best out of the street scenes. I, too, was having trouble to shoot street in Kyoto and Osaka a couple years ago until the sun came down.
You’re the creator that got me interested in film photography a few years ago. I found my Dads old K1000 and wanted to learn more about film and found your channel. Have enjoyed everything you put out man. And the shots in this one were awesome (ngl I’d love to have a couple of them framed on my wall lol)
We need more people like you and not degenerate live streamers whom cause so much problems lately (especially certain Kick “streamers” in Japan). This is a masterpiece that none of those IRL streamers will ever do.
Not complaining but I find the white background to the still shots a bit distracting. A medium or dark grey would make the picture pop out more. Just my opinion.

Already booking my next trip back. I can't remember any other place where I could actively feel myself grow as a better photographer.
I was at that same hotel just a few months ago! Amazing bakery there!
It was super cool meeting you dude!
I live 1 minute away from that hotel in Shinjuku.
It's so strange to see you going into my everyday conbini and seeing them on camera haha
I really enjoyed this video.
You cooked bro ❤🙌🏼
Good for you. Nice work.
Soo good bro. So good
did you mostly shoot using contax t2 for the nightshots? and what kind of film were you using?

When doing street photography it can become overwhelming (especially for newbie)

I can't afford a nice camera or a trip to Japan. My cheap camera and small town will have to do for now!
