You could also hide the wires behind your weather tech mats that’s what I did. ONLY Problem is that it will show when you clean mats. other then that it’s clean and hides wires 👍🏻

Just installed 2 of them, 1 in the dashboard and doors, the other one i installed it like the video. But i wired them together so i only need 1 controller for it, works perfect!

It is shit, when driving it takes in the wheel noice. Get a color organ or plug leds to subwoofer. This installation was shitty enyways, because it required cigarette lighters place & cables are visible

I like the effect but can't stand visible wires or tying up the power source.
Diane Glynn what I did with my led strips is hardwire it to the fuse box. Not hard at all. Just takes a little bit of time but it looks super clean and crisp! I also hardwired my Radar Detector to make it look clean too instead of using cigarette lighter plug

I think you can cut the wire and wire them to a ignition fuse or even your headlight fuse
I liked it. It just was hard to hide the wires since I used my cigarette lighter outlet as a power source. also the 3m tape is kinda week. Good product overall!
Snip off the piece that goes into the light Solder a longer positive and negative , find a fuse that on only when the car is on and put the red wire under the fuse and ground the black the a ground

It would only drain if you leave the car on without the engine running. With the engine running it wont drain anything.

Nice job ...i did a similar install but with the opt7 kit which is double your price.. Also tied it into the alarm system so it would come on when i turn off the alarm. Took it further by doing the underbody kit to have approach lights at night. They come on when the alarm is turned off or the door is opened and turn off when the door is closed or car started... mine is also hard wired to the fuse box ... that would be easy conversion for you..

I’m scared this is gonna drain my battery even when the car is off. Does it?
Depends on how you wired it. If it's wired to a source (fuse or cigarette slot ) that is only powered with the ignition, then it won't drain the battery when the car is off. If it's wired to an always on source ( you have to manually turn off the lights) and you leave the lights on then it will drain battery if the lights are left on.

I rarely use it anymore but it still works fine when I do turn it on, no issues with the adhesive on the under dash/seats

GOVEE, if this is set to bass mode, can the colour be set to one colour instead if the colours changing to every beat, i would rather have for example a red light flashing on and off constantly to the beat

@@STUNNAFRS Im pretty sure that there is alrdy videos how to do it. But if not, just google where you can get power easily. I recomend the fusebox. Run positive wire from the fusebox to switch. Place that on the otherside of that switch (there is 2 possible places that the wire can go in tobthat switch. No matter which one u use, it only changes which way the switch is gonna work) Then connect second wire on the other side of that switch. This is the cable you run to the RGB positive, then take the RGB negative & run it to any solid metal part. Make sure there is no paint covering it & that should be it, you can easily find videos showing how to take the plastic parts off. Hopefully i helped even a bit, if youre gouing for it & sorry for my shitty english. Anyways, if you face any problems when installing send me a message.

Yea if you want true music lights, you need to get an amplifier, like for just lights u just need a real small amplifier, and just literally connect your amp to ur radio and ur lights to ur amp. I have done it before and it works perfectly.
