Not been to Beni since Covid. Holidays are not cheap anymore it's getting Harder to Save .but I will definitely Return when I retire very Soon .Happy Holidays everyone
If your booking a package holiday it can be expensive, we book the apartment then book the flights separate, works out a lot cheaper, although July/august are a lot more, we fly out next Monday for 6 nights, apartment is £410 and flights are about £500 return for 2 people, so just over £900, not bad for 2 in august, October is a good month and usually about half that.

@@andysmith3125it can work either way, I’ve done plenty of package holidays that worked out cheaper.

I expect it's a bit busier than usual because people are fed up with the UK weather for August. No two days are alike.

yes Lucy great video , over there as a family of 3 in October(pelicanos 😮 pool location ) good to see some kids sitting outside the royal arrow in the evening it’s a place we will use with our 10yr old plus we are staying in the presidente next august , also over in may (port Benidorm) just me and the wife , keep up the good work Lucy I love watching these night time vlogs and seeing what bars “tolerate” kids 😂

We went in 1988 on a lads holiday. Always swore id never go back cos it would never be as good again. 30 years later to the day i finally went back. That was 2018 and next month i go for the 10th time

Great review, it has changed a lot since I was there on a lads holiday in 79 and 80. I remember hotel orange, Don Juan, Istanbul disco, talk of the town...all probably gone now or names changed, there wasn't a 'strip' as such then but it was still like Blackpool on speed!..great times.
I still love a good night out and a drink up, but I cant be doing with shouting over music all night.
You need to revisit. I first went in the early 70's and been going regularly for the last 10 years. I'm 70 now and still love it. Going next week
@@johnrowan7137 not for me now I'm afraid....nothing appeals, the food,( I never did like it) the strip, (its like blackpool) security/street crime (I nearly got turned over in 79) their police dont like the brits, nor do a lot of the locals... I sort of get that though..

@@Lloyd1885 There's plenty of places where you don't have to shout over the music. I stay well away from the strip at night.
@@johnrowan7137 do you remember the Don Juan hotel, Istanbul disco, talk of the town, hotel orange?..so many other places lost is the mist of time...had some great times there, no drugs around in those days, no aids, cheap booze, large measures lol...just good times.

The cost of living crisis, have left many UK citizens, with other priorities, myself and friends have been visiting the resort, twice a year for the last twenty years. What I have noticed, It Isn't cheap anymore, prices have really shot up, compared to last year.
Yes sadly prices for everything have gone up over the last year. It's not just holidays.

Quick question does any hotels in Benidorm come with a heated pool? Im finding it difficult to find one. We LOVE to go in March as its quiet but still busy at night but can never go for a swim as the pools are freezing.

I've always worked New Year so never experienced it from the other side! Its very busy though and the fireworks from Levante are amazing. Most bars levante side bring in the Spanish New Year and the UK New Year so you get to celebrate twice haha
must admit, usually go in May & September outwith school holidays although November ( fiesta) time is a bit pricey for flights & accommodation.

Hi Lucy, is there any news on Coyote Ugly or Planet Pop next door on the square? The Pop place was due to open in July but it still looks like an abandoned building site, so sad as we are coming out in 3 weeks time and I was looking forward to visiting them!
Yeah they obviously had a hold up somewhere along the line, and very few construction companies work in August because of the heat. We'll know more when they get back to work in September

there are some good restaurants in the new town. i'd recommend 'the curry house' if you like indian cuisine. otherwise, the strip in particular, is seedy as hell and there are some parts which make me feel uncomfortable and are a bit threatening.

I keep checking prices but can go much better places for the money .was there in april and take my elderly father each year.might give it a miss this year

when is best time to go to avoid stag and hens..
You can avoid stags and hens all year, just go to a different area.
But if you filmed this a bit later on it would be alot busier, 9pm is still early for the strip and square due to it being open much later people go out alot later

Benidorm isn't really a destination for families, it's predominantly an adult place. Therefore people head there when flights are cheaper.
