I’ve been running in skyflow for over a hundred miles and really love it. It’s like a Clifton with thicker forefoot and a little bit more bouncy midsole. But I think its outsole compound is different from Clifton. After a hundred mile the outsole of skyflow is like the outsole of Clifton after 300 miles.
I'been running on Cliftons for a couple of years but I'm not a great fan of the 9 and loved the Mach 6 soft and responsive foam so this might be the new Clifton for me

Thanks for this review Emily! I love the idea of the Skyform and would maybe be willing to give it a shot but the toe box looks eerily similar to the mach 6, and unfortunately, the mach 6 came up a little too short for me in the toe box in my true size. (this was never an issue for me with the mach 4's and 5's.) Being that I'm a size 14, there are no half sizes in my size range. So, I had to return them. Perhaps the Skyform provides a little more length in the toe box than the mach 6 and therefore worth giving a shot. (fingers crossed. wish me luck. Lol)
Great video- I’ve been thinking about switching from my Clifton’s to the Sky flow, my Clifton’s don’t seem to last very long. I’m worried that this shoe will be too stiff? I’ve been wearing Clifton’s for almost 2 years. Love them but they wear out yo quick
@@RunLikeHeller I have the 9. And I think it’s better than the 8. Hear nothing but good reviews about the Slyward X but that price is just too much for the shoe. It’s good to have in a shoe rotation though I’m sure. Now, the skyward flow is different. I just want trainer that isn’t as soft as the Clifton a bit firmer and can pick up the pace without too much work.
@@felixbruno7937some authorized mom and pop shops carry Hoka skyward x with some discounts they offer on their online shops if you Google them around. I got a pair with 10% off without tax and free shipping. I know it’s still a lot, but I saved some money.
I gave up on the hoka shoes due to the theres too much space between my toes and the shoe. Where there will be a crease that will start and bother my toes. It sucks because they did feel good when I tried them on. Also women shoes was too wide then the mens too. 🤷♀️🤦♀️
You lie!!!! You are not doing one video a week.> Prove it by posting a lsit of whatshoes you've reviewed in the last 2 months and the dates of the reviews. If you can't just send me a free pair of the mach x . Thaanks

Hoka Skyward X is my favorite shoe this year
its like the clifton and the bondi, made a baby... they named it skyflo! Thanks for the review !!
I can foresee this shoe for casual wear. People who work in fields where a lot of walking and standing will be happy with it.
Except who who works in the fields can afford shoes like this? Maybe hospitals….and casual wear for sure.

Fun as ever Emily
one day, a blind test of various models of HOKA is needed.
I've been using Clifton's as my daily trainer for years and years. Now I am curious to try the Skyflow... in a different color way
great video keep up good work your doing

Thanks for the review would you say the toebox area us similar to bondi 7 or so or more narrow thanks and hi ruby
Maybe a bit wider actually
@@RunLikeHeller thanks

I don’t have much issue with the stiffness
If you were to compare these two the hoka Mach X2 would you recommend for a marathon race?
Don’t have the Mach x 2 but I hope to soon!
❤
Would you say this shoe is a better daily trainer than the Clifton 9? And does this shoe get better the longer you run?
It does! And I think the Skyflow has the edge over the Clifton due to the midsole composition

Hi Emily, I have like a 9 min / mile for a marathon. What shoe would you recommend for me? 5'7, 155 lbs and neutral
I wore the new balance supercomp trainer v2 for the nyc marathon and absolutely loved it!
Mwhehhh😁
Not a hoka fan. But it was a good review
Been wanting to try a lot of the new Hoka lineup this year but literally all the colorways are 🚮😖
P.S. I take a size 10 mens.
