    I watch these types of videos to see how true they are. I’m born and raised in a large city during the 60s riots and so called peaceful protesters. And before going into any eating place, take notice how clean the parking lot and windows are clean. The lights inside, bright or some not working. Every box stores is set up the same just built in the opposite way. Know the neighborhood you’re going to if you’re visiting a city. Common knowledge- cruise ship tourism don’t go outside the safe areas of whatever country they are in.

    Here’s a tip. I always carry an old cell phone fully charged in my purse. It’s not connected to any cell service. Its just in case I need to call 911. All cell phones can call 911 so long as it’s got power.

    I have lived in Seattle and If I saw a crowd ahead I would stay back first of all. lock my doors if not already locked and be prepared to use my car as a defensive weapon. Just saying there are many illogical crazies' on the left coast. I have driven over sidewalks and on the side of the freeway and jumped islands when needed. I can relate as I am a country guy.

    Rule number one: stay away from the city.
    When I graduated from college I wanted to live and work in downtown or at least very close to downtown and I was happy with it until I saw what happened during the George Floyd protests when roads in downtown were full of protestors and other people who were there just to destroy everything in their paths and looters etc.. I changed my mind. It was hard to leave the city. Those guys were setting cars on fire, some were using Molotov cocktail, you find yourself unable to move because those guys were all over the place. Stay away from the city.. don't live in the city or near the city.. small towns are better and if you can live in a rural area that's even better.. now a lot of people are working remotely full time and a lot of companies are offering hybrid jobs. Rural areas are better and you can even have your own garden to grow some food or have few chickens.

    Nice episode...... I was nodding away in agreement...living as a low-profile expat prepper in a controversial SHTF-prone country south of the border has been super "hands-on " situational awareness training.

    If I needed to move my vehicle out of a crowd and slow movement does not work m well Your suggestions are right and I am glad your addressing them. I am just saying,
    I am going to start making noise and smoke my tires back and forth to let them know I am getting excited my car is jumping around and ready to move NOW, This tends to wake people up and cause them to reevaluate their choices . Just my way of dealing as I will get out of it.

    Thank you Denny & Sal for offering valuable information. Great video as always. I try to be the Terminator 👉 processing info as I’m out & about. All areas are important but a mob of people is most disturbing to me or even a few grouped together!!!!! Where are the hands are imperative! Often mingled into a crowd of protesters will be the “groups with pure ill intent” who will use the opportunity to commit violence.

    Being a “lefty “l have learned to use a reverse draw. It is very easy to reverse draw from a seated position. I agree that keeping your “truck gun” in a bag is a great idea. A vehicle gun is a perfect application for a rifle caliber pistol with a pistol brace and it’s easier to conceal if necessary. Great information, keep it coming because chance favors a prepared mind !

    • @freddyfred7494
      @freddyfred7494 8 місяців тому

      Interesting concept! By reverse draw do you mean “crossdraw”? Or drawing from the weak (right) side? I’m trying to get a mental picture ·

    • @paulcoleman8103
      @paulcoleman8103 8 місяців тому

      @@freddyfred7494 not a cross draw, I’m left handed with a right handed holster on my left hip ( doesn’t work with every holster). The butt of the grip is pointing forward. My left hand reaches in a motion as though I was trying to put my hand behind my back. Grasping the grip pull the weapon free of the holster and then turning in the direction of the threat. I don’t know if I described it correctly but it is not hard to figure out because it’s the only way you can draw and point the weapon properly. Takes a little practice and I don’t use it often but it does work well while sitting

    • @freddyfred7494
      @freddyfred7494 8 місяців тому

      @@paulcoleman8103 Ah, I gotcha. I could see how that would be easier to draw from the seated position. From the drivers side, being a lefty, my only concern would be those at my 7, and 8 o’clock. Thanks Paul!

    How do we survive a radiation emergency

    • @SurvivalDispatch
      @SurvivalDispatch  7 місяців тому

      If it’s fallout from a nuclear bomb there’s not much you can do unless you have a HAZMAT suit and mask that are rated for radioactive environments. MIRA Safety have a good article here … www.mirasafety.com/blogs/news/your-complete-guide-to-radiation-exposure. If the exposure is to a leak from a nuclear power plant you can take Iodine 127 to prevent your thyroid gland from absorbing radioactive Iodine 13x. There’s a ton of info on dosages for Iodine 127. It’s cheap and readily available from multiple sources, including Amazon.

    We were driving close to the quad in Ann arbor. Approaching an intersection,we were instantly blocked in by three police cruisers who stopped us just short of the intersection and then they set up to turn to a side street and control the route of the demonstration of Bureau of Land Management protesters. I was praying for our first new car to not be damaged by the crowd and it was not..
