Who am I?
Expert singing teacher, specialising in teaching children and young adults in singing and musical theatre. She has worked with the likes of The Saturdays for MTV, on shows such as Just the Two of Us for the BBC and many more. Throughout her years of teaching she has judged in many competitions, judging Lucy Spraggan, George Samson, amongst others who have gone onto succeed in the business.

Loved the audio book. Sadly I listened to it in 2 days. Which I really wanted to savour every part of it and pace myself. It was so easy to get lost in her story and while away the hours. Every hour felt like a few minutes. Truly one of my favourite people on the planet. 💗🌸💗

I agree! One of the rare instances where the audio book may even be better than the written book, simply because Mariah narrates and sings in it. I loved hearing her voice, on what was pretty confronting material.

She has one of the best techniques in the world, she didn't need to learn nothing is about the condition of her voice. She will belt a note that she can support at the moment and is good to not be shouty or strained, she's perfect for another things vocally.

Georgina, for me it now sounds like it hurts her when she tries to get power vocals. Her voice and her body language makes it look like it. What do you think about that?
I don't think it hurts, I just think there is inconsistency which makes her anxious which is totally understandable. High belting takes it toll on the voice. Idina Menzel is the perform example.

I don’t think it hurts , just she’s older now and nodules . She still can hit her power vocals no problem when she’s well rested not having nodule issues.

Georgina. It’s my personal belief that even back as far as 1995 the Mariah voice was partly or wholly manufactured. We know that by her own admission after 1998 the nodules caused her vocal chords to deteriorate. Every album ever produced is digitally rendered. Based on what we know of technology even you go back to live performances of Underneath the Stars or Without You in 1995 they seem not truly “live”. I was front row in one of her concerts and it was obvious she wasn’t singing at all. If you look at one of her more recent “acapella” performances of Everything Fades Away you can see the extraordinary lengths she goes to produce anything at all (backing singers) and then the overall final cut is artificial. I think we have no idea of what her vocal capabilities truly are or ever were. And I’ve been a fan and sung her songs since 1993. Was wondering what your thoughts were 👍🏻💜
