Hello, everyone. It's Chad here with Crawford Pest Control. What we have here is a colony of black crazy ants up high in a Jacksonville, FL warehouse trailing the vertical concrete block columns. We actually traversed up on a ladder and followed the trail until we found them nesting in a bracket that supports the trusses and horizontal beams holding the ceiling/roof up. What we are going to do is use an insecticidal dust and dust out the cracks and crevices they are hiding/nesting in. This will repel them from this area. Then, we will use a non-repellent down low to catch any other foragers and kill off their crazy ant colonies.
