- In my DIY (do it yourself) pool maintenance series, I go over cleaning the pool filter. Specifically a Hayward system, as this is the kind I have. Filter cleaning is VERY important for keeping your pool nice and is very EASY! Perhaps 15 minutes every two weeks, depending on conditions, and you are good to go!
I know there are many other pool maintenance videos out there but I wanted to make a comprehensive series for my son should something happen to me and he has to take care of the pool by himself!
