    Thanks for the informative videos. Can you please enlist or share a comparative sheet about the different hospitals all over the UK in terms of there standings, grade, competitiveness, standard of training, IMG friendliness, work ethics, etc. for IMG's like me to apply to as I am unaware of many hospitals in the UK, never heard of there names too!!

      This is really useful information for new doctors. However I am not in a position to compile all the information. I myself have worked in a handful of hospitals only. However I can recommend the GMC trainee survey where you will find a lot of relevant information.

    CCT is not possible without doing core training from UK, since GMC approved training also includes core training in addition to higher speciality training.

    Hi sir, very useful video. Thanks a lot..Just a couple of doubts sir..I finished MD gen medicine in India.. So, for working in the UK, if i pass MrCP, i dont need to go by the MTI initiative right?
    If im intrested in pursuing nephrology in the UK, is that possible after clearing mrcp or do i need to work for sometime in the UK before i can apply?
    From whom do we need to get the core competency certificate?

    • @SumanPaulDoc
      @SumanPaulDoc  Рік тому +1

      You don't need MTI, if you have completed MRCP. Alternative core competencies are signed by UK consultant who works with you.that's why you need to work in the UK. For the sake of argument even if you did manage to enter training without working in UK,it's not uncommon for the doctor to be reported to GMC for mistakes which were made because they were new to the system

      European centres will have their own procedures for fellowships. Please get in touch with them directly. MRCP SCE will not help you in anything, not even valid for GMC registration

    Sir, in one of the videos, you mentioned MTI route is strictly for 2 years, however, in your case, you continued in UK after 2 years as you received the job offer. If this is regular process or something special happened for you. Regards Anupam

      Hospitals don't recruit for physiology teaching jobs. It will have to be universities where the medical schools are based.
