Hi, I have a speciality training in cardiology for 8 years so I would get MRCP but I would like to start all the core training from the start so that I can be having the chance for going to Australia through the competent authority pathway, so can I do this after MRCP? Or I can't start from the most junior level including the first 2 years of internal medicine before the subspecialty?
I have to say you’re amazing and your videos are very much appreciated. I’m searching for the possibility for us to move to the UK as my fiance is planning to practice medicine in the UK. This is super informative and helps us so much to see what are the options out there for foreign doctors. Thank you so much for making this content!
Hi Laura Many thanks for watching. I am sorry I didn't quite understand your question. Did you mean which would be better in terms of job finding? There are plenty of jobs available in the NHS presently, all you need is a GMC registration to start with for which you have to do either PLAB, MRCP or MTI. Getting a job depends on your CV and work experience. Since MRCP is a more senior degree, you can expect job offers in more senior roles eg, registrar level. Please be aware as mentioned in this video, MRCP is only for Medicine or allied specialities like critical care so MRCP is only helpful for jobs in this area. All the best.

This entirely depends on your clinical experience and what stage of your career you are at.
Thank you so much Maam for such an incredible video! I just have one question. Is one year of housejob enough to sit in MRCP 1?
Yes, it is. Even internship is enough.
For mrcp 2yr clinical experience is required in which field ? Or just 2yr experience like medical officer
Clinical experience in medicine.
After passing mrcp is there any additional cost for pg¿
No.
Do we need to do pg from india before giving mrcp or can we give right after mbbs?

hello Maam
m Dr. sudhanshu from INDIA,
Maam i want to clear one of my query that once i pass all my three parts of MRCP , is it mandatory for me to pursue for IMT to get diploma or i will get the diploma directly after clearing all the three steps
You would get the diploma once you pass all three steps. MRCP is not linked to IMT in any way.
Thanks, dr
Many thanks for watching.

After passing mrcp exam is there any training provided?
No, MRCP is a certification exam.
hi maam, i have a query
i plan to pursue my PG in India. Can i do my next level ( super speciality) in UK ? if yes, which exam should i take? will that need repeating PG in uk
Hi Milu
Definitely you can do superspeciality training in the UK but you will need GMC registration and NHS experience.
Is there any age criteria for MRCP exam??
No age limit.
Hello Ma’am post MRCP what is next step
Hi
The immediate next step would be to apply for GMC registration if you don't have that already. Following this , if you wish to work in the UK , you may apply for training or non training jobs.
Psychiatrists are experienced with MBBS , MRCPsych , CCT without MD working in India. People get cured.MRC not equivalent to MD?
Hi SK
If I have understood your question correctly, then the answer is CCT gives the candidate full qualification to practice as a Psychiatrist.
@@AceurMRCP No you have understood my question wrongly.Your response is also unrelated to my question.
