i'm a beginner, this Clinic was so informative..will be a great help when buying my first board....so pumped about that...started watching a surfing vlog couple weeks back and now I am totally hooked....
I listened to the advice of a few friends and upgraded to the Performers from the stock FCS II on my Slingshot kiteboards and noticed an improvement in speed and feel. One issue many of my female kitesurfing friends notice is the general availability of the smaller sizes, though. I just outfitted my friend's Celeritas with the small carvers I took off my quad plus an old small FCS I center fin (using the tab filler kit) and she loved the results. Ideally she wanted small Performers but can only find the Mediums anywhere.
Such a helpful video. I have a puddle jumper hp after riding the original puddle jumper squash quad set up with medium. However, the hp tail has been sliding out on me heaps and im thinking the hp version may need large (im 82kg). What works best for this board? Im an average surfer surfing mostly small to medium surf. Thanks
Small board-- data. One: you use-- length of board-- which is, the domain range fx--slider. I have, more forensic evidence-- vs lunies that, use videos of Hawaiian giant waves, and FCS etc., fins? Never use, fin boxes for, Giant Waimea.
I am 77kgs not sore if medium or large fins work best for me i do like medium pc carvers and large mf in neo carbon board is dhd 3dx eps large or medium fins never sore hahahah
Four fins-- messes or allocates-- thrust center-- takes two turns-- and return at, rest. y U x--- 2+*4=6,8(2=y, 14) x cannot be, itself 14. 14/2,6,8=7,2,1--> (7+2+1)/3=3frqs range. 4 fins really, is trauma, for, feet ankles-- shins etc...

What are the old medina fins closer to? The Performer PC or Performer PC Carbon?
what is the closest FCS2 to the old FCS TOM CARROL design ?
I am 64kg intermediate surfer. Should I go for S or M size?
Medium
Really helpful, thanks!
Hey guys, the AM template would be more like a Carver or Accelerator?
Carver
so what if you are 80kgs like me?? M or L
Go for the Large Template
cheers
I used to ride the old AM2's. What would you recommend that is similar to them, but for someone 15-20kgs heavier?

Go for the AM's Large, center fin is smaller so they feel kind of ML size fin combo. Everyone loves it, including myself.
