Yeah,it doesn't show anything because they paid it,oh well,good thing for me that i have one hdmi input from my matrix to use,pc,ps3 and ps4 are there and lucky for me it's a 4x4 hdmi input and output.

OBS is open source and completely free. Are you sure you downloaded the right OBS?

Great, well edited video with clear instructions as always but what stuck out for me was how you showed that the QR code didn't work for the people that are sponsering the video. In case anyone was wondering if you are biased, they won't be anymore when seeing that. Also such a professional way of showing and adressing the flaw: no beating around the bush but also not hiding anything, to follow up with the wholesome statement "i'm sure they will fix this very quickly" and I bet they have.

What's the lowest latency for on a Lubuntu 18.04 build?
One of the best tools that I've found to screen capture my phone on OBS is scrcpy along with sndcpy, they're both open source, low latency and hella powerful, but they don't have a graphical interface. But as long as you have them configurated, they work extremely well. I recommend you research them a little and try the for yourself.
Sadly they're both for Android, although you can use them in Windows, MacOS or Linux
I have downloaded but for iphone pro max 13 its not working. For wired it freezes after sometime. And for wireless the audio is lagging.

Scrcpy is probably the cleanest and least latent-problematic option. I'd be willing to bet that a lot of these apps are really gui front ends for scrcpy

For your information about camera feed, There are Camera Apps such as Filmic Pro and ProTake. They give you clean video output via HDMI or wirelessly via Casting.
Cool stuff, now to test how hot my phone will get during a six hour stream. Most other products that stream my phone cam via usb work the phone hard.

i tried that douwan its works perfectly some games is not working especially in ios if you have budget buy some lightning to digital av adapter or if your are a android user especially for the mid range doesn't have a hdmi out go and buy some displaylink adapter, a usb-c 3.0 hub with pd and a capture card in order to work flawlessly and no lag as well

I connected my iPhone 11 Pro to the PC using the DouWan app and also recorded with it. I checked the recording and the screen monitor and it is recording at 30 fps, even though it is advertised as reaching 60 fps.
it needs your screen content refresh rate to be 60.
@@xindawntech4915 My refresh rate is at 60, but it records at 30. Also the DouWan App screen on the PC reads “fps: 30” when I click “fps” in the top left of the screen.
U can just right lock the video capture then go to transform and choose stretch to screen to perfectly fit

You do have to set up an account with this company and there's like 20 extra steps that he doesn't even mention in this video plus it doesn't matter if you already have Android installed on your laptop or computer it's going to download a separate Android driver and install it anyway so be ready for that and be ready to do restarts because that's a Windows thing when your driver profile changes you have to restart
So other than the extra 200 steps that this guy doesn't bother to mention at all I'm still working on trying to get this to work on my system
This is nowhere near as plug and Play easy as he makes it seem like and I'm pretty fucking disgusted by assholes on UA-cam doing this. Taking something that has like 500 steps to it and showing everybody three steps and trying to make it look point and click easy.
Its either you or your PC. I filmed everything that hapend on my system and showed it in the video... It is interesting when something goes wrong everyone assumes it's someone else's fault.

This might actually be useful for me.
I've previously used Samsung Flow to screencapture my phone when streaming, and it works, but it has some issues.
Granted, my PC isn't the best, so that might be why (though it has actually worked quite well previously, even when capturing at higher resolutions. Maybe some system update was behind the issue? I don't know)
But I'll try DouWan out and see how it performs on my current PC.
I'll be upgrading my PC probably like next month though, so it'll likely run flawlessly on the new one.

This software watermarks the video feed unless you pay. Scrcpy does the same job without watermarks for free albeit you do have to enable USB debugging. Admittedly you'll also have to run sndcpy alongside it to capture the audio but that's also free. I don't know if there's a similar solution for apple as I've never owned an iPhone.

Thanks for the video! I knew about Douwan but didn’t trust it before. I’m now using a combo of Douwan and Shoot (clean camera feed by Michael Forrest) to use my iPhone as a webcam with minimal cropping.

@@ramseydoon8277 Sooo I take it back. Weeks after purchasing Douwan it would randomly generate A LOT OF errors in event viewer, make the computer super slow or completely shut it down. At a point I thought my CPU or water cooler was dying. Turned out to be Douwan software crashing and I’ve stopped using it. Desktop has been fine ever since. When Douwan worked, having a wireless mirroring solution with minimal latency was great! Buuuut def not worth putting my desktop at risk.

Sucks that you had to deal with it but thanks for being smart enough to narrow down the problem find a fix that could save others from the same grief as yours, and thanks for sharing your experience!

HELP! I downloaded Douwan and OBS. I did the screen mirroring on my iPhone and can see my phone screen on my laptop. I opened OBS and tried to add Douwan as a video capture device so I could use my phone camera to record myself while having OBS display my laptop screen. But when I go to add the video capture device it only shows the OBS virtual camera and my laptop's built in web camera. It's not showing my Douwan iphone setup. What am I doing wrong?

Greetings...This is great. Currently I am using a simple setup for a live TWITCH music stream from my dj Mixer into my cell phone using the headphones jack and an Irig2. The downside is that I cannot use OBS software on my phone. So I am missing out on all the tools of OBS. Can i use this app to get the OBS benefits while still using my cell phone? the soundcard on my cell phone is wonderful and I want to keep that quality. Will window capture help with this? I would love to talk to you about this when you get time. Great content.

Michael, i tried it but wasn't straightforward for me, however, once i had it running a BIG watermark makes the app useless unless you pay.

Great guide, just wish Douwan didn't have a big watermark across the screen. I don't get how OBS or any other screen recording software doesn't just let you connect your phone and record video/audio right away. 😕

I followed every step but for some reason the audio is not working and I’m not having the same screen as yours.

That looks everything but no lag. Scrcpy is probably way better, free to use and lighter on the phone's resources. But there's no virtual camera for Windows, only for Linux.
