👁 About this video : Today I drive and check out the all new 2021 BMW M4 Competition! This 2021 M4 Competition is such a cool performance coupe! I love how the new 2021 BMW M4 has new styling and an aggressive look! The front bumper has the vertical kidney grilles and honestly looks really cool! The G80 2021 M4 with the automatic transmission is awesome! I love how driver focused it feels and it felt super solid. The power from the turbo engine was super smooth too. I love the exhaust sound on the 2021 M4 and it was beefy! The interior of the 2021 M4 was very nice with leather on many parts and had a performance feel while still being comfortable and roomy. Carbon fiber was all around the interior even on the paddle shifter, and the roof was carbon fiber! The 2021 G80 M4 Competition also had the staggered wheels to give it extra style. The 2021 BMW M4 is also very wide looking with big fender arches and overall its an awesome car! I loved driving the G80 M4 Competition in Toronto Red Metallic and this is a great sportscar!

Best looking M4 I have seen yet. That bright red paint really shows off that black grille. I like the new grilles btw. Those seats are crazy with all that carbon fiber. Very sporty! You may be right, BMW may have toned down those exhaust notes this year but it still sounds great. Overall, a fabulous car and probably a blast to drive. Brian, one question.....do you watch Manny Khoshbin’s channel. He has quite a collection of exotic sports cars. A $40 million collection all under one roof! Some really superb vehicles. If you haven’t seen his cars, check it out. You’ll be blown away. Love that BMW! Good job. 👍

Great review. I love the Toronto Red but opted for the Brooklyn Gray Metallic, Black Rims, Red Calipers, with Fiona Red Interior. It still “ At the Port” hopefully it will be here by March. Been waiting since November! Thanks for this excellent review! I’m one of the few that loves the front grille. I think it looks mean, and unique compared to the competitors. But again beauty is subjective. 😃

Great video. Have you driven the C8 Corvette? If yes, can you tell me if the M4 pulls similarly to the C8? Or which one feels faster? Thanks man!
I've driven the C8 quite a bit. Honestly the Corvette doesnt feel that fast. M4 is way quicker from a roll. C8 has amazing launch control, but aside from that it normal car fast. Not much quicker then my Supra when my car was stock. And this M4 is more on par with my Supra now that its tuned. So M4 will feel quicker most cases
@@BrosFOURRSpeed Appreciate the detailed answer man. Honestly, I'm surprised by your answer because all the people who drive the C8 on UA-cam act like it's the fastest thing in the world hahah. My other question is: do the M4 and GTR feel about the same fast wise (stock for stock) of course.
I think there's just a lot of hype around the C8 where everyone just wants to say its the best car ever just because its mid engine. While its a great car for the money. To me it's just a Corvette that looks like a supercar. So the looks are making people just keep thinking its actually a supercar lol. It's no Lamborghini
GTR feels a tad faster stock for stock and will launch better off the line.

Yeah this was a lot of fun to check out! I really like them! Personally I'd go with a base just to get the manual. I'd get the carbon seats no question! I could see me buying an M3 in the future when I need the practicality of the back doors.

How would you compare this M4 to the RS5 you reviewed the other day? Which would you pick?
Honestly I'd pick the M4. You can tell it's more performance oriented. BMW is on the performance side. Mercedes is on the luxury side. Audi is right in the middle. Later in life I'd pick the RS5 because it's more luxurious. But right now, M3/M4 all day!

It's a soft top. The older hard tops were so creaky after a few years. Soft top will be quite.
love this video!! do you feel that it is cumbersome to get in and out with these carbon bucket seats? i am still debating between the stock vs these!
You do have to sit into the seat and climb out of them. So it's isnt the most easy car to work with. But I'd take that all day to have these seats! Really made it amazing to drive!

I don't think there will be any changes aside from being awd, but those will be fun to drive too!
I think the xDrive will be available with the competition models only. xDrive will not be available with the manual transmission.

How are you able to drive the M cars from the dealership. Most dealership say they don’t let people test drive m cars
The first few M3's and M4 cars my dealers got in that were not pre sold cars were used for marketing purposes a bit. A few photographers came out and did some shoots and then we did some videos. These car go quick so the dealers like to use these first few cars as opportunities to get content around the new car to send to future customers.
Idk if I should get red or black. About to order a competition M4 when my current lease is over in 3 months.

Compare a Race Red Mustang GT for half the price. They look very similar re the exterior lines etc. performance is also similar too. The GT 10 speed V8 in the Mustang is very fast and engine exhaust sounds much better. I think the BMW is nice but for my money I’ll take a Mustang.
As much as they might be similar in shape. Haven driven multiple Mustangs, there is no comparison at all. This feels wayyy nicer and more premium. Much better build quality and is a lot faster! A new Mach 1 would be on the similar line and thats mid $50k. But the M4 is still faster and has better interior materials.

That would be a copyright claim depending on the audio we use, but it just doesn't come across on camera like it would in person. So that would be something for the potential buyer to hear while checking it out.
This or the GT500 2021?
Thats a touch one! This will be a cheaper option. But the GT500 is much faster in a straight line. This isnt quiet as fast stock in a line, but this feels much lighter in the turns. If you want a car more for mountain, roads, pick the M4. More drag racing, go GT500

Most of the reviewers say it's real BMW in how it drives and below the hood.
If you look back on the early BMW cars tho, they had more vertical grilles too. This was a fantastic car to drive!

My Supra was $56k. We were looking at almost $30k difference between this spec and my car

The BMW interior is VERY NICE but you’re paying $$$$. EXTERIOR - Mustang styling copied. Grill ugly! Performance- 10 speed Mustang GT.
Its a nice car for sure. But there are a ton of differences between a Mustang and M4. Mustang still feels like basic Ford with cheap plastics. BMW feels much more put together. Have you driven both these cars back to back? I've driven every Mustang under the sun. While they are great sportscars for the money. Once you experience premium brand cars, you can tell all the cost cutting that goes into normal brand cars. M4 is on a whole different level
@@BrosFOURRSpeed - Yes I’ve driven both and I agree there’s a big difference. But I don’t think the difference is worth the difference in price. My GT premium or Bullitt Mustang cost $40-50k it loaded and feels really great inside and looks great outside. The BMW LOOKS BETTER BUT NOT WORTH TWICE.
@@BrosFOURRSpeed - You get a better sounding exhaust and more power from a GT Mustang. The main difference is the interior especially the plastics. You’re paying half the price for the Mustang and I think you’re getting better value. In about 3 years the bmw is selling for half its original retail price and trade in value drops a lot too. You lose less with the Mustang because it costs less to start with. How much money are you willing to spend and lose and a rapidly depreciating item? I like to be frugal if I can especially when I can have so much fun driving a Mustang or Supra or Z for much less and have no worries about my warranty expiring!👍🏻😊
