I'm probably the only person who thinks this but the new m3/m4 is really growing on me and I really do prefer the new front end over the old
If only there was a coupe version of the Giulia QV to make this hideous car completely irrelevant.

Been so caught up with exams lately that I almost forgot how pleasant it is to watch you guys review these cars. You kept me company during my lonely lockdown breakfast and I absolutely enjoyed it. I swear to god one day I’ll come to Canada to meet the two of you. Greetings from Italy’s imprisonment.
You guys' graphic overlays have always been impressive. I'm only 3min in, and man, you guys are doing some great stuff with these multiple angles that manage to feel connected and motivated... without ever getting in the way. Compliments to the chef!

imo the M2 CS looks better than the M4, especially on the front end. But for me, M3 > M4
The Back and the rear tree quarter panel don’t look strange
Every time I think I'm coming around to the way the new M4 looks I see a quick side by side of what it could look like (6:59) if it was like the M2 and it just reaffirms my stance.
Agreed. The M3 has the widebody which makes that grille not look so abnormally shaped. Last gen I was all about the M4. This gen it's like they tried to just make it a meme and blow it up on the internet. The front is a meme and the launch color just further pushes the ugliness. They should call it stomach bile yellow

@@KraknSkulls I was really referring to Alberta. I don't know much about Quebec, but I have heard that the culture there is pretty conservative outside of Montreal.

Bro idk that front grille is just gross af, the interior tho is such a huge improvement and I don't even mind the back or the side profile cause that looks great as well. But that front just fuckin ruins it...
I really didn’t like it in the beginning but it’s grown a little. I don’t think the grill looks bad, it just doesn’t look like what we’ve gotten used to bmws looking like. Idk I wanta see one in real life

If you listen closely you can almost hear the prices of F80's climbing.
The sad part is that other than the grills, this is an objectively superior car in mostly every way. You're gonna have to compromise either way.
@@defyyourlogic487 Oh, I couldn't agree more with you. This was just one of those things where you sit back and ask yourself "How did this get approved by so many people up the chain? How did this get through?" Maybe some low level peon tried to say something and was reprimanded. If you took everything about this car and just threw on a normal front end this would be *chef's kiss* perfecto, but man did this fall short in the appearance category.
@@markc9949 I dunno who's running the show at BMW, but it's quite shocking. Not only this but that 2 series gran coupe which couldn't be less driver focused for an "ultimate driving machine". Somethings changed at the top and changed quite drastically.
Was planning to trade my m240i in for an M4 within the next 2-3 years, but unless the next generation M2 really blows me away, the AMG route might just be the way to go instead.
Or of course getting an F80 and modding the shit out of it might not be bad, either.

It definitely isn’t the best looking M4 M3 coupe but I don’t think that necessarily ruins the car. This is the purest car we’ll ever see as everything will eventually become electrified.

When I saw online I was mortified, I couldn't believe BMW would do this. When I saw an M4 on the freeway I was pleasantly surprised. The grills match up really good with the hood and when you look at the car as a whole its a lot better looking than the outgoing model. The outgoing one will look dated very quickly.

it's just so ugly, but the car itself seems fun. Bet an aftermarket front bumper would make it a killer car.
I prefer this new grille *massively* over the previous one. Finally BMWs are starting to look interesting and not as boring as they used to. To each their own though, I obviously respect your opinion.

Was in the hate on the grille gang. Saw it in person and drove the car and it went away, the car is cool enough to make up for it in my opinion.
