I am watching your youtube channel now for several years. It is very helpfull and I am surprised you did not quit as several others did. Thank you for your inspiring advice.
Quality composition Simon. Complemented by a beautiful sounding library. The baked in reverbs work really well in this library to add to an authentic atmosphere without overwhelming everything. That whistle! The choir is also really subtle.
Excellent vid: I like the way you described each instrument, its context and why you used it. I bought Fantasy Orchestra some months back and its an incredible package.
Following you all way thru Simon.... Insanely interesting presentation.. BTW I'm an EW owner as well... 😊 Pls do short walkthroughs of other EW Libraries if you may... Love & Blessings your way...🎻🎉🎉🤗
Excellent content as always Simon! Also Eastwest always surprising with its libraries. Do you know if these libraries and OPUS come with the cloud+ subscription? And in any case, what do you recommend more, the subscription or buying the Hollywood Fantasy pack?
Hollywood Fantasy Orchestra and Hollywood Orchestra Opus Edition both come in our ComposerCloud+ subscription, along with all 60+ EastWest collections. But of course you can buy any of these titles as well if you prefer!
Its an excellent software. Also - if you're keeping an eye on Fantasy Orchestra, EWQL is always doing excellent deals on their software: the week of Black Friday is a good time to look out for for the best deals, but throughout the year I've found that they regularly drop prices by up to 60% and more on some packages.
I already seen and used "9 Hollywood chord progressions for 9 different Emotions" but now i need more!...I would like to see another video from this channel listing chords with their emotions. more epic-ness preferred.
Nice video! I have a technical question: every instrument has its own play instance, or in the plugin it's possible to stack instruments like in kontakt? thank you
I am on the composer cloud for the past 2 years and the addition of the fantasy orchestra is the main reason i am still using it, the fantasy voice are really good compared to their other choirs libraries.
Is anyone using this in Reason? I have had problems in the past trying to run East West products in Reason. Though recently I bought Hollywood Choirs and that was good. Any advice would be appreciated Jim
I have been hired to compose fantasy music. They can't afford a real orchestra and a full range of medieval instruments. A few days ago I saw EW fantasy library and was thinking going for it for the job. You have convince me! 😊 I know a few musicians who will be able to sweet the music. I know a professional musician specialized in medieval instrument but having EW fantasy to fill up the rest is amazing!
You don't need to buy it. Opus (which includes Fantasy Orchestra) is $19 a month on subscription from EW Composer Cloud, and you can turn the subscription on and off, month by month. So, you could probably get away with only paying for a month or two, while you do the job.
Appreciate the correction, always a worry of mine that I would do this especially with these types of instruments so thank you for pointing out the correct way! Have just responded to your email! Thanks for reaching out!
Thanks for the deep dive into Hollywood Fantasy Orchestra!!
You guys are great!
So pleased you like it, thank you for the opportunity to explore this library, really appreciate it!
GOLD!...This is the best and most comprehensive channel I've found when it comes to cinematic music production.

Yup, you’ve convinced me… I need to get a better computer before I take the plunge on this pack.

Hello from Ireland Simon, wonderful video, thank you. I have emailed you today. BTW, Uilleann (pipes) is pronounced 'ill-an', not you-lee-an. :)
I'm Canadian, playing in a Celtic metal band with an Irish name. The pronunciation battle here is an uphill one 😂
