Oceanside is one of the most underrated Southern California beach towns, in my opinion...it's so beautiful and relaxed there. It's also home to a large Samoan population!! Fa'a Samoa!!!

rent a car and drive and you can drive from oveanside all the way down to San Diego and its a very scenic route all along the beach. i miss it me and my wife are longing to go back but shes in the navy. cali is the most beautiful state with its mountain ranges and beautiful beaches, even where we lived out more inland with the desert in temecula area was just nice. california has put so much money into its infrastructure that most cities are really nice. take a drive up to newport beach as well its only about a 40-45 min drive north on I-5 thats worth going to as well. we hate it up here in illinois nothing but trees and dirty lakes lol

@@jzona 95% of the time its sunny in cali bright clear blue skies. although march-april is considered the rainy season but last year we barely got any rain

California has such an unwarranted reputation of being "communist" and "liberal handout" state and whatever the buzzwords are for people to tack on. In reality, everyone wants to live there. It's an amazing state and I'm glad to hear more money for infrastructure is getting invested. I'm from Dallas and now live in Phoenix. Grew up as a kid going to so cal and nor cal and now visit a couple times a year to chill in San Diego, Anaheim and Orange.
For sure, there are level headed people in pretty much every city in America. They usually just aren’t as vocal. But they are there.
