No mudguards and nowhere to carry work gear? How are these commuter bikes?
Some shown here already have mudguards fitted so not sure what you're complain8ng about. They can all be specced with guards and paniers. Couple seconds on Google mate.

You guys should become retailers for Kuma bikes from Dublin. Their range is superb and streets ahead of anything else value and feature wise. I’ve been riding an M1 around London for just over a year - same mid engined 85 Nm Bafang M420 as the Temple but an enviolo Trekking hub and a Gates carbon belt and cheaper!!!
Fwah the temple classic! Upright riding is just a must for me, it's just so so comfortable.

Orbea Gain M30 is a very light and discreet commuter, with no discernible resistance when the engine support disengages. I would say perfect range extender for an experienced cycling commuter...
Interesting you haven't included Gazelle ebikes made in the Netherlands, is that because you only review or rate bikes that you sell? Doesn't seem a totally honest review, or am I mistaken?
The Temple reminds me of like all bikes I had when I lived in the Netherlands!! Such a looker!!

For people who have the Bike2 - e28, is it easy to just replace the rear wheel and convert it into a regular bike when needed? Also, does it ride almost as good as a road/hybrid bike without the battery/ motor?
I am in the market for primarily a road bike, but it would be nice if I can get a little push and not sweat on my morning commute (especially on certain uphill sections). Also, on some weekends, it would be nice to go on a group ride with other road bikes. Does E28 fit the bill for this? (I am also open to two bikes instead - so I will get the road bike now, e-bike maybe later).
Also, is it possible to test the bike somehow if I order online? (rent or re-stocking-fee + exchange if needed?) (I am in Ontario, Canada)

I have a BH e-motion atom diamond. More like the last one you reviewed. Also as heavy. Unfortunately not sold here in the US any longer, so it's orphaned. Nice to see what's out there for when it becomes unservicable.
How lightweight are the basic e-bikes? Missing LEDs + carrier + accessories add up weight, compared with full featured normal bicycle having from the start.
im clueless can you install a rear rack on all of these bikes?

If it has a throttle, if may not be legal in the UK as with being unlocked. Just pedal harder 🥳
Do you take mudguards into account? For commuting every day, you cannot do without I would say.

That why I still hesitate to order their bike. Not only communication is pretty bad. The fact that most of their bikes are currently out of stock worried me. I've been looking for a simplistic belt drive with a throttle for awhile. Guess I will just have to go without one and get a Tenways instead. Better parts with named brands & support.

When you think of commuting range is a issue! Why didn't the Aniioki AQ 177 Pro Max or other 100 mile range ebkies make the list for that matter?
Hi my idea of a great company who specialise in the UK is E-movemnt they got some good gold bikes and mountain bikes.
I wish there were some step through reviews for us senior citizen bikers.

They don't sell Vanmoofs so you can forget them ever reviewing or recommending them.

Wau ebike have a new model coming called the Cyber which I'm looking forward to seeing and if I win the lottery actually owning.
Currently I'm happy on a non ebike to build up my fitness and bum bike seat compatibility but life hits us fast so who knows what's around the corner 😎
The Honbike really took my fancy, the clean quirky design is really attractive and the claimed 100km range is more than enough.
But the difference between claimed range and test range is just too great, and that worries me.
To be fair we tested it on max assist so the number was always going to be lower. The range from Honbike is most likely based off of a low assist in good temperatures for the best battery performance. Just like car companies - range claims are always extra than what it truly is. Which is why we're here to test it for you! ☺

Man why is england severely lacking in e-bikes? Compared to America we get so much less with a greater cost. I just want something like Velotric discover 1, cheaper price with still good components and looks like a regular bike with actual suspension.
Our regulation made them essentially useless

Skeptical on the stiffness of the honbike. I bet it becomes wobly with hands off the bars like all bikes relying on just one tube between the front and back. You guys should test that.

This bike was really easy to assemble ua-cam.com/users/postUgkxMesz3KOGEmwmvyKQfLfrRSUXLFzfVHZA and required very few adjustments out of the box. The wheels did not require any truing/adjustments. The frame had some small scratches, but nothing major.I did replace the seat though - the seat it came with was very uncomfortable. The tires need to be re-inflated every 4-5 days, but this appears to be quite common for the narrow 700x25 tires.Overall, in my opinion, this bike looks and rides like a much more expensive bike.

I bought an electric wheel and a battery from Amazon, 350 dollars, and a normal Chinese crap bicycle 150 dollars, top speed 50km/h and 115 km range, that’s it it has more km than my car now 😂
Sadly these are the ones that are causing lots of battery fires in the UK :(
Lol bike 2, you pay over £1500 yet you get the suspension of what youd expect in a £50 regular bike.
Please tell me what the best bike is that has the best suspension and speed under 800 quid Mark?

Their so incredibly stealable that I got my racing bike stolen outside an e bike store waiting for it to open. When they are all foldable like the bromie I might be interested, still scared of the dazzling top speed of 15 mph though. I don't want a whip lash injury.

Seriously whats the point of the honbike??? if you can't even attatch panniers to carry your stuff around? Avoid. Also this channel never includes what is probably the most important point buyers want to know about, whats the after care like and how easy is it to repair/replace parts. These are all highly customized and will most likely be a nightmare to fix once things start going wrong.
This is a commuter bike for someone riding to work with a backpack - I think the inability to add a pannier rack is very much a conscious design choice which will definitely make it unsuitable for a lot of people.
In terms of after care, that's a fair question, and we'll make sure we cover these points in future videos. We sell this bike ourselves in the UK, so any repairs or battery replacements etc can be done by our mechanics in London. And all parts are supplied by distributor Modus, who are a reputable distributor with which we have a great relationship. So I feel quite confident in the after care of this bike.
If a pannier rack and strong UK-based after care are your most important points, I'd recommend the Estarli e28 for max peace of mind.

Chain drives with derailleur should never make a list for best commuter e bikes.
Man, everything you guys are recommending and selling are all just using cheap Chinese components such as Bafang, etc. These components wear out and fail in just a few short years when compared to Bosch, Brose and Shimano.
Recommend some bikes with good hardware and quality that is built to Last!!! Such as Riese & Muller, Vanmoof, Gazelle, Specialized, Haibike, etc.
You’re just deceiving these poor viewers and your customers with these cheap and poorly built bikes which are a horrible investment.
I personally own a Mercedes Smart E-bike which is still going strong after 10 years and now its like new with its newly built and upgraded battery giving me a 100miles of range. It looks and rides better than any of the crap bikes you guys recommended. If I were to shop around for a bike now, I’d go for a quality one from either Germany or the Netherlands with a BOSCH mid drive for their excellent reliability.
Consumers want something that will last and be dependable. Recommend reputable companies and not this crap.
