1. Plug simple cheap earphones with a mic on your phone.
2. Use a clip to press the small button on the mic.

And btw it removes sound when ur recording but when u finish recording it will have the audio
I like Lollipop Screen Recorder. It is a straight forward screen recording app that is free, and records the audio from the screen. Only thing Lollipop does not have is a video editor. I use another app to edit the video and adjust the size of the margins on the video.
The video editor app I use is Scoompa video editor. I use the paid version to remove the watermark, and it cost $2.99 per month, plus this app can be used to edit other videos and create photo video slides too.

Do you know why when I record Minecraft, when I play this saved video the actual size of the video is very small and the frame is only in the middle, with a large black frame around it? I have tried various apps and it happens on all of them, but only with MineCraft. If I record while on the home screen or anything else, the frame takes the entire area of the screen. I use Xiaomi Redmi Note 8 Plus. Thanks.

I think so.. It's built in to my Samsung S10+ now and it's great!

I get a black screen when recording. I'm trying to record through screen sharing my tv to my phone. I've got an old VCR hooked up to my tv and trying to record some old home movies, and make them digital. I'm on the Note 9 which has a built-in screen recorder but this also happens on the apps you recommend.

You can still record internal sound with mobizen. At least with lg. I just recorded some game play on the stylo 4.

@@jkatierose if you have an Android and go into the all apps place which you can find in your primary apps located on the bottom of your screen on your home screen you can click the magnifying glass at the top and search "Game Launcher" and it should appear

I made an image video of 14 mins total file size of 852.4 mb. when I shared this video on whatsapp to a friend, this video split itself into 3.2 min screen slots. so instead of one single video I had to share it in 4 parts of 3.2 min slots. How do I fix this. I want to share the video as one 14 min video. The recording is not a problem sharing it on whatsapp is. If I click on the video on my mobile screen it shows the entire video without any breaks. its only when sharing it splits.
Is it only happening when sharing in WhatsApp?
@@PrimalVideo yes. Most people prefer whatsapp video sharing.Im a palmist. I take images of peoples palm and analyze. I make the image videos on xrecorder. just yesterday i tried sending one video on Telegram, it was fine. She got the entire 14 min video. but on whatsapp it splits

My only question is I didn't quite understand the distinction you were making between recording from the device mic vs capturing the internal audio? Could you clarify? Practically what's the difference..Maybe an example would help.
Recording audio from the device mic is audio that you would hear externally from the phone, like speaking and internal audio is sound made from the phone, for example sound from a video. Hope that helps!

Maybe you're creating a video on your phone and want to provide commentary about someone elses UA-cam video and you need to include a segment of that video as part of your video???

I'm checked this video because supposedly Android 10 is released and Google allows apps to listen internal audio and then with that screen recording apps should be able to record internal audio.
It seems that Android 10 isn't for a lot of devices and screen recording apps haven't implemented that feature.

Hey Justin. Really appreciate your work. Have subscribed and liked several videos, and taken advice from you and bought certain products.
Just wanted to throw a comment in with regards to these android screen recorders. Besides these recorders listed here, we have tried several others but have found NONE to be consistent with recording quality. Even though they are advertised as Full HD 60 FPS, we have found that they give a variable frame rate REGARDLESS of the setting (30 or 60). This gives us massive editing problems when we take the video into our desktop editing app (lightworks). An example is a 47 fps rate trying to fit into a 30 fps project. Just not happening. In fact, when I reached out to Mobizen, they (three times) sent an automated response which did not answer my question and which directed me to their "recommended settings", that being 480p 30fps. I am no boffin, but a 480p resolution is not gong to cut it in a HD or FHD video.
I'll be trying your last option (reflector), so hope that will do the trick for us.
Please note that this is specific to gaming recording and the device we are using is a relatively good model (Samsung S5).

UPDATE: reflector is great but we ran into some device lag (probably our device specs). Even though Mobizen still gives a variable frame rate, we have opted to run with them because of the no watermark feature. We then use a work around to convert/export the video to 30FPS, and then take it into lightworks for the "professional" edit.
Thanks mate! I was looking for a decent recorder for a game I play just for fun for myself and friends to send to. The one in the app store with the best star rating u can get a free trial to get the premium version but then it's like 90 $ a month or some crazy ridiculous stuff and the app is HORRIBLE. It lags, it skips like whole 5 second chunks in the video I was SUPER disappointed. Thanks a ton bro! Az is pretty good! Does what I need it to.
