@@graceleungyl Thank you for your response. I'm working on systematic review paper, so I need to review a bunch of PDF papers, I think NotebookLM can do the theme analysis or anything, I'm not sure... or to find the gap on a study field?
This video is great because you inform me without boring me. Ironically, that's why you're being compared to AI. But high frequency energy is so refreshing. Sigh of relief. 🎉❤
Thanks Grace. You showed up in my feed and motivated to me to move an activity I am about to start to NotebookLM. I've used both Perplexity Pro and Gemini Advanced for almost a year, and was quite keen to understand the new angle. However, there is a lot in here and, about 8:00 in, I lost the thread. Even more so when you came back to PP at the end. A summary map might be helpful
Thanks for watching! Appreciate your feedback! Basically, I covered 5 different unique ways in using NotebookLM over Perplexity particularly related to content research. Any thing is unclear or I can specify more?
Great video. The only use cases I’ve seen in other videos has been for academic research. When you’re using it for content research I don’t think it matters if it’s 100% accurate since it’s more looking for trends and patterns
Thanks! Yah...to me I see its value is really speeding up research process in marketing, whether for marketing research, audience research, content research...
Grace this is a gold mine of information!! I would love to see you take each suggestion and go into more detial from start to finish. For example, a walk through on how to get from idea to blog post would be fantastic! Thanks again!! Hubspot has a great resources on blog post writing as well!!
Thanks for watching! So glad to hear that. 🙂 Which use cases I have covered that you want me to deep dive more? For finding ideas to blog in specific, I have covered that quite a lot in my past vids, a recent one you can watch: ua-cam.com/video/sTVhhX5Z2ss/v-deo.html
Thank you Grace for always providing awesome content and sharing your knowledge. I have learned so much I am looking forward to more great content like this. ~ Many thanks and Blessings
Great work, Grace! Your unique perspective really shines through in your content. It's impressive how you leverage AI tools to enhance your creativity and deliver top-notch material to your audience. Keep up the fantastic work!
@@robfee1473 A recent example is I need to learn a complex feature of a software. The traditional way is to read the official doc or watch a UA-cam video, but now I can simply gather all the sources and give them to NotebookLM, it will automatically generate a summary, a FAQ list, and an audio podcast, and I can also ask questions. So learning becomes much easier. It feels like I have a super smart robot as my helper.
I am an electrical engineer. After I put the Canadian standards for electrical construction in hospitals as sources I was able to get precise answers to the type of power sources required in a healthcare facility, with citations. It took an extremely dry topic and gave me the answers I wanted in seconds. What a boon to Consulting Engineers. It made me so much more productive.
I have seen other videos on NotebookLM, but this one was the best. I'm going have to watch it a few more times and pause and rewind so you were talking so fast. lol It's all good though. I appreciate a quick video without the fluff.
@@graceleungyl You are welcome. It's funny you just commented. I was just watching another one of your videos. You are very helpful. You come up with ways to use AI that no one else it talking about. I subscribed to your channel.
Hey nice content. Here is a hack that many UA-camrs are starting to use and I have seen this. Premise to the hack - India has the highest population in the world along with highest English speaking population. So many UA-camrs target Indian audience for quick qrowth. Hack - as your are showing the examples/demos in the video, try and use examples that are India centric. The topic of your example article can be something simple like "Best Indian foods" or something that suits you but make sure the topic has "India" in it. Now, you repeat the topic name multiple times through out the video (you can say something like "as I upload this article that I was recently reading called "best Indian foods" to NotebookLM). This forces the UA-cam algorithm to push your videos towards Indian audience suited for your content. This enables you to grow faster. So there you go. My small contribution towards your growth😊. All the best. Cheers.
Great video, thanks. I wanted to include the url of this video into my "AI tools" notebook but it said the transcript was not available. Am I doing something wrong?
Probably because this video is published within 72 hours at the time you tried to import, and NotrbookLM doesn’t allow that. You can try again now and it should work.
Ha .. I liked that podcast thing, a little gimmicky but thought if you could tweak the script and have it for a podcast with someone .. I love how you got the transcript so quick and easy right in the same NotebookLM app
It might just have been automatic for you, Grace, but thanks for the heart. You never know when someone needs a lift! I just started trying NotebookLM a few minutes ago and I got such a buzz off it, my CV is a bit unusual and the way LM handled it was just remarkable. Will have to make a reaction vid I think.
Nope, it's not automatic! 🙂 Appreciate your support to my channel. NotebookLM does shine in some of my use case needs, excited about how it goes on your end!
Yes or no, while that can be challenging to smaller startups, but it does speed up innovation and creativity for better differentiation. Tech is always a very competitive field.
Her English seems absolutely fine. You need to give up the idea that the world will speak your accent just coz you think that's the right accent😂. Europe is not the the center of the world.😅😅

I normally easily understand any US / UK /Australian / Indian accent, even scientific lingo, but hers is very difficult because it heavily mispronounces words - which for a native English speaker could be tolerable indeed, but not for others... *facepalm again*
Yah, it's not perfect. But for a beta product, it's still impressive and I'm sure it will keep improving. Another way is to convert it to Google doc before import.
Google's UI UX is ugly, especially that AI logo. Cheap and full of engineers' tastes ~ I prefer to wait till Apple's AI OS comes out. The interface of the LM system is really bad like window 3.1
Perplexity was indeed an associated topic that came up when I was doing research about NotebookLM, and they both serve similar purpose when it comes to research (but via different ways). But yes I agree we should use both of them to maximize value.
My experience is not that worst, but def would have expected to be more outstanding especially how other AI are keeping up. To be fair, the Gemini model is powerful (as we see from NotebookLM), so my guess is more about the AI integration tuning part that makes the final product really impressive for end users.

It is a boon for engineers and contract specialists who have to wade through 100's of pages to get answers on codes, regulations and contract clauses.
