I don’t know why they’re complaining about the camera angles and sound, I thought it was very informative and I could see and hear everything very clearly…Can’t please some people no matter how hard you try….This was a great video….thank you for posting. 😊😊

It may be the music. Much clearer without it. But otherwise good.

I rarely complain. But the sound was distracting. Commenting on it is to provide constructive feedback v carping about nonsensical stuff as some do. So much time and effort goes into making a video. I am appreciative of effort.

not saying something does not make it go away. Ignoring something does not mean it is not real.

This is very fun. I really like this. I am working on 13 quilts for my grandchildren. I'm loving new ideas. Thank you for sharing this with us.

Great tutorial and very easy to follow. Thank you for not rushing through each step.
Like some viewers, I found the background music unnecessary as well as being quite distracting due to the presenter is softly spoken. Saying that, it doesn’t change the fact that this is a very easy to follow tutorial suitable for all, regardless of sewing experience. Thanks again 😀

Glad it was helpful! Sorry to hear. We were (are still) novices when we started making these videos for our library patrons. Hope you find our more current videos better.

Some folks have hearing problems, so the music and a soft speaking voice can make it difficult to clearly hear the presenter's instructions. She does show clearly what needs to be done and the sequence as well. Thank you.

Great video! I enjoyed it very much and hope to try this method soon. I could see and hear just fine. I wish the patterns were still available on the library website. As a former librarian I understand the limited equipment you’re working with. ❤️😂😊

Would love to know math…with extra seams what size square to start with for 12.5” sq (12” finished). Thank you for the free pattern & clear instructions💕

from Gerry- It is very important to show at least 4 blocks sewn together so we can see the pattern this new block creates. Be blessed.

Hello: Judy Brown is an independent business owner who demonstrates these projects for the library. When we began this partnership during the COVID shutdowns, she initially demonstrated the creating of various 'blocks.' They were just a simple tutorial of the block and were never included in a larger quilting project. :)

Great tutorial. The music detracts mightily from excellent content. You could use your square on ruler corner to mark each 2" mark on adjacent sides of corner.

I just found this. For newbies (which I'm not) it would have probably been helpful for you to have cut the edges off on the last step. Obviously they will understand, but you had the mat & cutter there & didn't cut. Just a thought.

Fun new block (to me anyway)! The sound quality was a little low, but the instructions were well explained. Can't wait to see the next video!

For tutorials, music is not necessary, When trying to learn something, music gets in the way. Had to turn my volume way up. Good instructions. Keep in mind school teachers do not have background music.

You have to illuminate the positive…ignore the negative …don’t mess with mr in between ..remember that song for us oldies ..all instructions were perfect..the fuss about music too loud..etc..maybe some learning disabilities were at fault..not personal..thank you for the tutorial..

Camera needs to be closer to the block. The sound isn't great to begin with
and the music is too loud (not necessary at all, in my opinion).
