I loved this tutorial! I'm rather new to quilting yet I wanted to make a quilt for my Granddaughter's first birthday. I watched this tutorial, bought a charm pack and got the guts to make this quilt. It turned out so cute and I was very proud of the result. Now I'm determined to make her a new quilt for each birthday. Thank you for your educational tutorials and your love of quilting which is contagious.

Jenny you are so awesome! You still start from the beginning regardless of which quilt you are working on. Some will say "Just start with a 4 patch" HUH? Hello this could be my first video so what's wrong with explaining from the start. I tried this and love, love it. It is not as hard to make as it looks. Only made 5 squares so far, but still working on it along with others.

Hello Jenny!~ Love all your tutorials. You have taught me everything I know so far. I didn't read all the comments....but I am sure someone has already told you this...But as I was watching you, I noticed your mat is bent on one corner. That is perhaps the reason you were having some trouble turning it. I know..cuz I dropped my mat and bent it. Just have to straighten it back out. That's what hubby's are for..LOL! Bless you Jenny! You never fail to make me smile or laugh out loud!

Love your instructional video for the disappearing 4 patch. You've taken a very easy quilt block pattern and ramped it up to look so much more impressive and difficult--but after watching your video, it really isn't difficult. Thank you! I've ordered and received my charm packs and looking forward to getting started. You are a natural, Jenny--you describe things so very clearly.

If you want it larger, MSQC's pattern on their website for this charm pack quilt: Disappearing 4-patch Quilt Pattern by MSQC with yardage for borders, backing, and binding gives you a 59 x 67 quilt. www.missouriquiltco.com/shop/detail/43172/msqc/msqc/disappearing-4-patch-quilt-pattern-by-msqc?gclid=CL25yuT00dMCFRCdfgodJPYBmA

Just finished my first two blocks. Love the easy construction and the tutorial is fantastic! I did find that Moda and Robert Kaufman have different rulers. I am using Simplicity by Moda charm squares from my stash and I purchased Kona Solids by Robert Kaufman from Missouri Star. The Kona squares are about 1/4" larger than the Moda squares. The blocks are squaring up to 8" but until I trim them, mine don't look near as pretty as Jenny's!

you are right to always double check non-Moda pre-cuts because they can vary sizes and thus impact the blocks. This block can be "squared-up" thank goodness.

Hi Jenny, I wish I had seen this a year ago! Thanks for the great tutorial! The colors you used with Navy, White and Gray made it look so fresh and modern! I've seen so many of your tutorials and you never cease to amaze me at how fast you sew while keeping a perfect quarter inch seam. I know this is an older post, but I just saw your blog the other day and wanted to congratulate you on the new filming studio. I know those lights are a huge investment, not to mention the cameras! I'm still working on my valentine envelope patch quilt with a stack of white and red charm squares. I've only made one since February! Now I'm tempted to do this one instead, but then I'd have to sew more seams! But the block is just so irresistable. I don't know how you do it standing up, no eye glasses, no special machine lighting etc. How do you find the stamina to make all those quilts, build five stores, run a huge online business, quilt magazine........all those lovely blog posts, the wonderful daily deal stories! (I check every day!) Big hugs!!! and a big Thank You!!!
