- XF Extreme Formula is the latest and greatest project that Lakefeperd has been developing over the last year. In this video, I drive through all of the tracks in XF Extreme Formula and hopefully showcase how fun and exciting this new racing game is. First thoughts on it, I just think that this game is an amazing evolution of F-Zero and hovercraft racing game genres. Its unique racing mechanics, stylized art aesthetics, and amazing track design are sure to pull many fans of those games in as it is able to reach the same exhilarating experiences that those racing games have as well. So far my favorite vehicle in the game is the Blue Auron and my favorite track in the game is Eclipse Highway.

I really like the new mechanics that this game brought to the table. Overboosting feels rewarding and space races are fun.
The vacuum of space mechanic could use a little refinement to make it feel more engaging, but other than that this game is FUN
I wasn't expecting a demo coming the the announcement trailer, but that's Lake Feperd for ya, always full of surprises!
This game feels like a simracer variant of this style of game, with its multitude of gauges in the top left. With how little fuel is burnt in races I wonder if we're getting endurance races at some point where you have to manage that fuel and maybe repairs to your hull to keep racing.
Also the demo get updated some month ago with for 4 new ttacks added (now 17).
