How to visit the Amalfi Coast on a budget 🇮🇹

- The Amalfi coast is a must visit place on your trip to Italy.
The colourful buildings perched on the cliff face with the striking blue sea beneath them makes for the most perfect photos.
Although the main spots in Amalfi are on the pricey side, the smaller towns are just as beautiful and a short trip by either boat or bus. The town of Maiori (where we stayed) is a great place to spend with family or friends. It has plenty of small restaurants to try out and a calm beach.

Beautiful around there guys great footage.
Thank you so much for watching! 💖
Definitely want to go there someday! Great vid 👍
Thank you so much for watching 💖
Nice catch up from the early days of recovery from Covid. We were on the same steps in early June -and with a small pre-research we were able to get and find so much more…
- like the pathways and tunnel from Amalfi to Atrani, hill paths etc.
Also when travelling on a budget -I would recommend to use the local transportation (SITA bus) or with the 9€ paid to tour agency you could have taken the fast ferry (15-20 min) to Positano -including the beautiful view and arrival to the heart of Positano
Good stuff.
Thank you so much for watching! It's such a beautiful part of Italy. We did use the buses and I think I said tour by accident but we paid the €9 to the ferry company! I agree its amazing way to see the Amalfi Coast. So glad its easy to get up and down the coast! 💗
Why doesn’t anyone taking these videos post what month it was taken? It would really be helpful in planning.
Great 👍
Thank you so much!
Interesting video. You had me right up to your comment on “half full” coffee. On my first trip overseas I thought the same thing. After living in Italy and gaining knowledge of coffee quality and type I can assure you that McDonalds coffee is no comparison.
Hi, thank you so much for watching out video. We really appreciate it! The quality was definitely amazing but I'll be honest I'm not a big coffee drinker and Joe often tells me I don't know what a good cup of coffee tastes like haha😂
@@ParadiseonaBudget The full coffee mug here in Italy is hard to find. You can find it at McDonald but is simply not the way we drink it.
Italians drinks coffee only in small cups and it tastes really strong compared to what you are used to.
They probably gave you good Italian espresso, which is stronger than the one you get in McDonalds, which is more watery, and you are able to drink more of.
Wow that really is a luxury spot, you can see why it attracts so many high rollers!! Glad to see it's not impossible to travel there without being a millionaire 🤣 great video guys!!
Thank you so much for watching! I always thought the Amalfi Coast is really expensive but it just shows you can still visit there on a budget!
So beautiful scenery
It is amazing!
Yeah ;)
I have a to be there this summer ;)
Cannot wait
@@Kenneth_An have an amazing time!!

@@Kenneth_An I'm sure you will, its so beautiful💗
Hi great video! Love the drone footage in the beginning 😍 We’re visiting Positano on our honeymoon (haven’t decided where we’ll actually stay yet) but I was wondering if places accept credit cards or if we should get euros. We will exchange our currency and get euros anyways but trying to decide how much cash to bring. Thank you in advance 😊
Hi! I would say have Euros as a back up but from what I can remember you can use card a lot too. The only thing we had to have cash for was to buy the ferries and buses. Hope you have an amazing time there. Thank you so much for watching our video ❤️
@@ParadiseonaBudget thank you so much! I was thinking of having euros in case credit cards weren’t accepted.
Hey really nice video. I’m heading to Amalfi in 2 weeks. I am wondering how much did you spent per day there?
Hi, Thank you so much for watching our video! We spent about £55 a night on a hotel for 2 people. Around £5 a day each on transport (buses) other than the day we caught the ferry we spent about £12. For food we cooked alot ourselves but we did get a pizza at around £8, ice cream at about £2.50 and lunch cost around £5-£8. All the activities we did were free so I'd say we spent less than £50 a day per person. We did cook all our evening meals however which saved us alot of money. Hope you enjoy your trip!
What month did you go? I am going in August so I am guessing it will be really busy then. Thanks for an informative video. 👍
Hi, Thank you so much for watching! We went at the beginning of October. The coast line is massive so if one part is particularly busy I would hop on a bus to the next beach. You'll have lovely weather, ours was abit hit and miss haha. Hope you have a great time✈
Thank you for these tips! How was grocery shopping? Would you say it was on the pricey side?
Hi, I would say yes as there's only limited places to shop if you don't have a car but its not stupidly expensive! It's still alot cheaper to go to the super markets than eat out. Thank you so much for watching our video!
which month was this
Hello guys hehe
Hii kim !
Which town did you guys stay and what’s the name of the air b & b you stayed in please ?
Hi! We stayed in Maiori in an air b&b called Angelina Residences. We found it on booking.com
I think the coffee in Italy is stronger
Hey guys, really enjoyed this and found it useful, we are going there soon. What are you using for your video, a GoPro?
Hi, thank you so much for watching we really appreciate it. Yeah we use a go-pro to film everything! Hope you have a great time
@@ParadiseonaBudget Great job. I am a professional wedding photographer, but will want a break from lugging our cameras around so might just take our Hero 10.
@@SamandSteve wow that's amazing! Yeah the Go-Pros are so easy to travel with. We're hoping to invest in a good camera soon!
Hi there Thk you for sharing your journey
Just before the video ends where you bought pizza rolls and gelato you mention if you came back you would stay in that area
Do you perhaps know the name of that area please?
If i'm remembering correctly its Positano, but i'm not too sure of hotel prices there, Thank you for watching!
Postaino... bruh
Burgers in Italy.... Noooooo!!!
Haha we had been in Italy a while at this point and fancied something different 😆
Was the last place posatino
Are people wearing masks everywhere still?
This was about a year ago now so not sure but I don't think so! They're not in the rest of Europe
Dont ever do this again please
