I love when you feature the craftsmen and women. So many people in Italy still make things. The tailors, dressmakers, gardeners, bakers, cheese makers, shepherds. Also there is such a joy in the simple things of life. Having meals with friends and family is always so joyful looking. We have lost much of that in the US. I feel sad for us.
Which is why we must be inspired to live our best lives in the states!!!! Invigorate positive energy all around!

totally agree. i'm a daughter of immigrants.. no longer here. who were artisans and immigrants to the US. Italy is my heart. Every time I visited i felt so different, peaceful. Alive. I'm sad for us too. Born and raised in the US. and it is NOT the same. Not the same also with the old school generation gone. :(

Could you do a video with Elisabeth about her business? Have her describe her typical day at work, the boats, where they're kept & serviced, trips offered, a rough estimate on prices, the history of her company and maybe some stories about the best & worst trips ever and any celebrity customers in the past. Does she hope to expand or do anything different, are employees a challenge, any advice for working moms and newcomers? I think she said once she's not certified to drive her own boats, so is that something she would try to do? We see her a lot on her personal side with the kids, but her business side would be very interesting to see too!

Wow this video was special to me, firstly my late mumma Pasqua favorites anti Pasto was cantelope and procutto we had it before any special meal, birthdays Christmas and Easter❤️ secondly Carlos papa sounds exactly like my nonno Giussepe and my papa Giovanni I just love the Neapolitan accent!! Now lastly I watch these with my husband Mario and he was so excited to see that men's shop in Positano, we must go there he said they make the shirts to fit, linen his favourite and it's finally here in Australia linen shirts for men! You folks are very busy enjoying life no matter what you are doing. I enjoyed Carlo talking to his dad about watering his garden and what he uses on it and how it keeps it free of insects. I'm always looking for different gardening ideas from other gardeners. Some are ingenious.

I just love seeing bits of your lifestyle each Sunday. Thank-you. Today you reminded me of a starter I had years ago. Thin slices of de-rinded melon alternated with wafer thin Parma Ham sprinkled with a red currant coulis. So delicious I treated myself to a home made version occasionally.

You are living the life I was meant to have, the one I am about to start living. Thank you for convincing me that it is real, it is worth it and not just a dream! I traveled to a few European countries with my sister in 2019 and the minute I stepped off the plane in Italy, I was home. I have never felt more agusto than the three days there. I actually cried when we had to leave and promised that I would be back soon. I’ve been making plans since. It was such a pleasure to watch this video. Thank you again!

My husband and I were so fortunate to be able to take a @bluestarpositano day trip last month with Saulo. What a lovely and perfect trip it was, with a most wonderful and gracious captain. I wish everyone loved their job as much as he. 😊
Just an ordinary day of 1000 little things and steps. A morning dog walk in PJs...hmmm, that's a new one. It reminds me of my uncle not very good on exercise. He'd drive the car with door open and the dog on the leash walking beside the car. Now that's lazy! Carlo, a sharp new shirt! A cooking screw up, You mean your like me...lol! Carlo saved the day with a simple and delicious alternative. Carlo, What a view from your father's tomato plants! Your day off, man that dock was jammed with people. Yeah, little kids love to explore tide pools to see what creepy crawly things they can find. Now that bruschetta looks almost as good as mine. For me two large pieces, lots of garlic and my special olive oil Laudemio by Frescobaldi puts the finishing touches on it. You all had a great day in the outdoors! Un Abbraccio forte a due!
I agree I love how you share those that make and do things and create a way of life thank you for sharing all of that with us. I can not wait to visit Positano, I have been to Venice but not the Amalfi side of Italy, and your fur family routine is so much like mine 1 kitty who is very vocal another who is quiet and my little Dog Darcy who is jack russell/beagle mix full of mischief. All who love to sleep and romp on the bed to wake me up haha in the morning to feed them.

I see Indie is using her new crate well. What do you mean "we wake?" It looks from the video like you are vigorously awakened by all the pets at once looking for their breakfasts and trips outdoors. LOL. Well, you do have somewhere lovely to walk in the morning without all those stairs, so that's a blessing before the day's heat sets in. It is perfection for a linen garment to be so well-treated as to fit the wearer exactly. That is as it should be for a wearer to look natural in their attire and not worn by it with the person becoming the kit, the accessory, potentially ignored next to the couture or costumery. We do believe Carlo really loves you, Nicki, because he calls you "amore" as though he means it and it is natural to him, without it being offhanded, a throwaway term. Lunch looked great even without the burnt tomatoes. Love the new hat. It was a delight to visit the tailors and their shop and see their exquisite fabrics and designs. I love visiting the local workmen and artisans. It was great to see Carlo's father and the care with which he waters his beautiful plants to be sure he gives them what they need so they will bloom beautifully for his pleasure. You ruined our discussion. The chaps here decided that, being English, you had taken to imitating "Downton Abbey" far too precisely and decided you must learn to change outfits multiple times daily to keep up with the Crawleys. LOL. Mostly, we hadn't noticed or thought you were layering due to the weather. Love the look of the water and sound of the music.

Yes I really love Nicki, but you may not be right, that the word "Amore" always means you love someone, because it is sometimes used in an ironic sense to someone who you can't stand in that moment. (especially in Neapolitan dialect, pronounced: Amò)💕❤️😘
3 years ago I was in Ischia and. my friend took me on her little boat and we went around Ischia, swimming, cave swimming...I miss it....can't wait to go back.
