Tires. I believe is after the 3rd year as per manufacturer.. after the 3rd year rubber starts to crack. Also in case of an accident DOT does look up at dates. On tire .. "DEFECTIVE EQUIPMENT "
Great job about inspection and put it in good shape to ride. See you soon. So, sugestion for future. Bring us about market trade truck price it is worth buy and fix and put again on the road.
Not a bad looking truck as you say some issues from siting so long and that rust UG i would change out the brake canisters the springs and rubber inside are a real concern .
@@truckingandfixing question. If you are able to answer this. I m planing to buy 2006 fright liner menial with caterpillar engine. It has over one million400k mile on it. They are asking 20 thousand it’s runs good but rage little time to build the air up
Ryan what's up man ? I been following you for a while. Your info is detailed and easy to comprehend. Thanks for the info. What's your shop info. I'm tryna get in touch to see if it's possible to get my Detroit 60 series coolant pressure issue looked at. Every mechanic jumps straight to a blown head gasket, rebuild, etc. However not one guy ever mentioned the possibility of a air compressor, water pump, egr vave/cooler, etc.
Ryan. I've been following your channel for awhile. I'm looking to buy a truck after over six years of driving. I like to get one with the Cummins. My question is would Internationals with a Cummins be a good starter?
Hello! I want to rebuild my engine for a 2005 International. Do you think it is a good idea to buy parts from Ebay or is it not? Please reply and let me know with details when you can. Thank you!
I really liked to drive Columbia 11 years ago it was awesome truck engine super powerful 500hp and very strong engine brake which held max load from hill in Utah on 10th max gear easily. Too bad they discontinued them

That truck needs a lot of hours in labor to get back sealed up tight. But it definitely appears to be worth it
You are right about a lot of hours 😉
Worth it? Hell no.
It's a damn columbia. They suck. Just part it out. You'll make more money that way.

How much they get it for put in about $18,000-$20,000 including tires. And you’ll basically have a brand new truck that will last another 20 years.
I like the cut driver 👍 good info thanks
Steers I replace every two years
Why do you wear suspenders? Do they not catch on things?
When should I get an overhead adjustment done? Like how do you know
Once a year is how often I do it. If you go through a lot of mountains twice a year

I would suggest to stay away from international! Not easy to work on, and you will pay more for repairs.
@@truckingandfixing okay. Thank you for your input! I know the Navistar engines are junk.
