I have a video idea for you. There are a few companies who make the add packages like Infineum, Afton, and Lubrizol. I was wondering if there was a difference between lets say Infineum's and Afton's Dexos gen 3 certified additive packages that then are blended with an adequate base oil. My thoughts have been that an engine can not read a brands label, and it only cares about the chemistry of the oil. Therefore, the only way to know if you have the right oil for your application is to first find the proper certification for your engine, and use oil testing to then find the best oil for your car. I'm sure you have some light to shine on this topic.
One issue I have is Amsoil won't tell me what base stock amsoil uses, specifically in the signature series. I understand they use "100% synthetic" labeling for all their products, even though it isn't group iv/v. Which is odd to me. I emailed Redline and they were quick to respond and rather transparent, which I appreciate. Switched from amsoil to redline ever since.
Professor Dan back at it!
Thank you Dan, I love that you are making videos again.

Thank God you’re back take care of yourself so you can keep giving

My question is why don’t they market on their bottles?
