This is just wonderful…the “sway” is just right for those who aren’t familiar with posing, allowing them be dynamic, instead of static and stiff - which certainly shows on screen.
Another Great Video! I really like that the first part is the theory and the second part are the „real Life“ examples :) I think it would be cool to see the feminin and masculin poses side by side. For example straight lines vs. curves, feet together vs. feet apart etc. :)
Nice job Emily in directing. There were so many varieties of poses to make into a gallery for the customer to chose from. I like how at had him shake certain body parts to get him to relax
Thanks for the tips! This model is lovely and has a very feminine energy. I feel like it would have been more helpful to see a less feminine male do these poses!
Very nice Emily, you are so pleasant and knowledgeable. I will save this video along with the female posing video so I can call them up for review whenever I need. thank you so much and thanks to your friend and Adorama.
Many thanks for this video! I have a portrait shoot with two males who are not professional models this weekend and they may be a little nervous, and your tips are right on time! Thanks in Advance!
Good video! I learned that first pose in boot camp 😃. Stand up straight, put those shoulders back, suck in your gut. Although more yelling was involved lol. Thanks for the information and your time.
Thanks for having this class. It good to know how to pose clients or models for certain projects. Can you do a product photography shot also. Thanks for giving back to the photography community.
I would like to see posiing tips for average people, not models. Overweight, short, tall, old, blemished. Tips for hiding the obvious. All I ever see are trim, young models who would look great in an Instamatic snapshot.
Yup. You won't get that. We live in the society where being average is terrible not to mention below average. Combine that with being a man - you need to be tall and handsome out of the bat, yet people (women) will lay to you that personality is whats important 😂😅😂
Great advice! That was really helpful! I am looking forward to more content from you! Constructive criticism: A) You are great! Allow yourself to be more confident creating awesome content! I know easier said than done! 😉 B) If you need to look at notes during the filming, have those maybe close to the camera or get a teleprompter. They are getting more and more affordable! Again Thank you very much 😁👍
Thumb or hands hanging out of the pocket both point to or frame the umm, yeah. I tend to stay away from that unless we're trying something more... yeah.

Would love to see the final edited photos from these poses...
The year went by fast. Hope to see Emily do another class in December or Spring. Great work!!.
Got my first shoot soon and terrified! I came to learn tips but this vid has calmed me down, seeing what she will be guiding me through. Thanks!
This is good to practice for personal use, or business just in case you have an idea. Glad this pop up again.

This was so practical and helpful! Thank you for the clear demonstration!
You are amazing! So clear and precise! Thank you so much for this. I'd love to see a fully length shoot you do.
Great tips!
This is great to practice the poses for fun or an idea for startup. Thanks

100% not to mention their style. Ouff!
This was one of the best videos for learning poses that I've found. Thank you!
This is really good. Simple instructions. Easy to implement as the photographer. Also easy to follow as the one posing.

Great, very instructive❤
Very helpful! Now I gotta figure out with two guys because I will be photographing identical twin brothers 🙃🙂
How about posing for heavy people? Is there any difference or things to keep in mind? I'm heavy and a lot of people I take pictures of are, too.

Helpful as always, Emily. Would love to have seen some photos from the session. Your videos are really useful!!

Why did you choose a feminine model for masculine posing tips
Good concepts but the model does not have that natural masculine looks
