CRZR wins Best Offroad Caravan Suspension in Australia… no make that the World with Auto Ride Height

You may not know that I built 6000 RV’s and developed my own air suspension with an anti-away bar 10 years ago. I went to first principles and consulted the best engineers in 3 countries. However, Rhys Conti of @CRZR has taken his passion for off road suspension to the next level. Whilst independent setups have their benefits for a single angle, nothing beats the live solid axle for tandem setups. It’s much stronger and manages the crabbing on tight turns way better. Add to this is an Integrated Anti-sway bar and hot forged suspension arms and I’ve awarded this the Gold Medal. Rhys opted for Safiery’s Integrated Display with Automated Ride height from the Vehicle. This allows the driver from the vehicle to change the ride height on the go. In fact we are re-naming 2 settings to “extreme driver tilt” and “extreme passenger tilt” so that he can manoeuvre the van through narrow passes with overhanging branches. This is one hell of a van. best suspension? beam suspension is nothing on independent suspension, car makers have been making independent suspension with self levelling since around 2006

Agree for vehicle and single axle caravans but not tandem.
