Hi Maury, For single crusted pies, such as pumpkin or pecan, you may use the Gourmet mode/Bakery Products/Short crust pastry/Fruit Tart setting to fully bake this type of pie. For a fruit filled, double crusted pie, place the pie in a cold oven and select the Convection Mode and begin the bake with 15 minutes at 425 F, then reduce the temperature to 330 F and finish baking until the bottom crust is golden brown and the filling is bubbling. Expect an additional 40 to 50 minutes. Thanks for watching!
The best explanation of how this oven works by far. Thanks so much!
What mode do you use for cooking apple pie, berry pies or pumpkin pie
