Where are the MEN? Why so many female talking heads?
Especially if it’s a frivolous claim, they are your go to ambulance chasers
Remember when the Oregon police firmly denied a serial killer was out there?!
I live in Oregon and never heard that
@frostygal I'm not surprised! I can't remember which poor victim they found but lots of people at the press conference said they think there is a serial killer out there. They were all " not even a chance ".
@@frostygalI live in oregon and for a while they denied the murdered were connected
Yep!!
Many people were connecting the dots and the police kept saying they weren’t connected to the same killer 😩😡
It seems to me serial killings are first degree.
You don't accidentally murder people on multiple occasions.
Second degree doesn’t mean it was an accident. It means it wasn’t premeditated
@ThePathOfLeastResistanc
Three separate killings?
Of course it was premeditated.
It obviously wasn't an accident.
@@sherylpayne5851 🤦♀️
@ThePathOfLeastResistanc Of course they were premeditated 🤦🏻♀️
If he was charged with only second degree thata likley because they dont yet have enough evidence for first degree. They probably will upgrade to first degree when they get more evidence
What’s with the Pacific Northwest and serial killers.?
Idaho!
What’s with the East Coast and serial killers?
Former Spanaway WA and Beaverton OR resident here and I 100% second this question.
@@INFJparadox idaho has never produced a serial killer buddy..that kook that killed the 4 students was from Washington , a state well know for kooks as well as Oregon.
@@LiminalStatesPhotography PNW is known worldwide as a haven for serial killers
✨This (massive) case really boils my blood because Oregon LE repeatedly said to the media, "No Serial Killer here!!!". If not for the family, friends, and media relentlessly pursuing this angle, we won't be here today! Come on Oregon LE, do better!⚖️
Yeah. They were trying to squash any thought that there was a serial killer in our midst. They tried to make everyone feel better by saying they are not connected at first, but then that means that there are two of them out there if you keep on finding bodies everywhere.
I live in oregon and they found a womans body on the road where we were just fishing a week prior. It kind of freaked me out. I hope they put this guy away for a long time!
Columbia county? A girl was killed mysteriously and found on the roadside and there was never any answers
Oregon is real messed up.
Worst State in this country for multiple reasons but mostly because you will find the meanest ugliest people living there!
Yeah it is don't visit
At least he’s out of his killing grounds for now, another killer caught and so many praises given to the men and women who helped to catch him, if it is him. Regardless I think there’s a lot more serial killers in America than we think rn.
What a freak
ew, look at his eyes man BAD!! Truly Evil
Here we go with the 8 million comments about eyes..
😂🙄
This freaks me out because I live in Clark county! To know this dude was out there killing just a few miles away makes my blood run cold 😳😳
No bail
Obviously lmfao
Portland, Oregon(Multnomah county)and Vancouver Washington(Clark county) are right across the river from each other. So very plausible….
I've been in Vancouver my entire life and it's a very uneasy feeling to know how close this guy was!
If you had ever spent time in Portland and Oregon in general, you would understand how its basically a serial killers hunting ground. There has to be a lot more than this guy.
I have seen stories on young homeless couples having their tents unzipped and being viscous attack. For no reason. People trying to machete you, big rock, assualt your girlfriend if you know what I mean.
An additional body was found but its unrelated ? Damn Greater Portland Area. Yall just disappearing people left and right.
Very bad story telling. Not clear in timeline or the suspect.
The Governor should KNOW more about these criminals before releasing killers. Oregon needs to shake up their leaders. She needs to go.
Is there a trade school somewhere in the Northwest for these type of people? It's no wonder they couldn't find Jack the Ripper. He went home to watch a Seahawks game.
The trade school is called a perilous lack of vitamin D exacerbating mental health issues of all sorts
Did he live anywhere else prior to the state of Oregon?. Maybe there are more victims 🤔
He DID CROSS State lines! OMG! Clark County is in WASHINGTON
Why was he given clemency?
It was before any link to the kyllings and he was sent to fight the wildfires.
@@jts3505 You didnt even answer the question..😐🤦♀️
Calhoun had been serving time for a 2019 conviction on stolen vehicle and burglary charges when then-Gov. Kate Brown commuted his sentence in June 2021. He and 40 other people were released from prison after participating in firefighting efforts. The commutation shaved about a year off Calhoun's sentence.

Wow, he has creepy eyes…. 😬
Why do so many serial killers like Washington ,Oregon & Alaska,?
Govt is easy on crime
I don’t know about the other states, but it has to be much easier to get away with that sort of crime in Alaska. It’s very easy to find a secluded area where no one will see what you’re doing and to find somewhere to dump bodies where no one will ever find them.
Lots of nature to hide bodies

I’m sorry, but this interviewer is crappy but ridiculous questions and the delivery is like a third grader
That's how all professionals talk, probably why there's so many serial killers
Yes, it sounds fake.
He has 5 victims. But this says 3. This is very intentional and where he dropped them. You don't accidentally go to like eaglecreek.
His first and middle names are two of the names listed as most common among killers.
I have been covering since it started and even filmed where the crimes took place
While the wild fires here in Oregon were horrible and the men and women that fought those fires deserve alot... this man shouldn't have been released. The police kept denying what we all knew and was just hoping would get solved. Keeping the public from panicking and yet allowing us to be informed in order to protect ourselves is a delicate situation but we all knew it was the evil from one man. This was happening all around us and i think originally the police only hinted at some of them being connected but it was obvious.
He should be getting a 25 year sentence for each victim
What's with serial killers in general?
These jurisdictions are very very close together. And there’s capability of shared databases that cross county lines
Crazy. Makes you wonder what they thinking or feeling while doing it.
He sounds like a disorganized serial killer who kills when the opportunity presents itself, hence the 2nd degree murder charges (no premeditation). Hope these ladies and their families get justice!
Super creepy eyes.
There’s been numerous murders of young women along the Oregon coast, one cold case in particular is the Kelly Disney case. Very scary these people live among us😕

Clark County is in WA State.
There is also one in Nevada.

Arkansas, Idaho, Illinois, Indiana, Kansas, Kentucky, Missouri, Nevada (Las Vegas is in their Clark County), Ohio, South Dakota, Washington state and Wisconsin.

Hah that caught me out too. I was like WTF?! But ya know, I'm also baked. 😅
😳
Why is it second degree murder did he give then time to run
Maybe because it was consensual initially so it wasn’t premeditated? Who knows. Innocent until proven guilty. I wonder if he was a truck driver or something?
It is somewhat difficult to prove first degree murder. Maybe it was consensual at the beginning, or maybe they know of other women who were customers of his that came out unscathed. It’s much safer for them to go with second degree, more likely to get a conviction. If he’s guilt, society needs him locked up forever. I don’t really care how they get to that point.

That just means there was no premeditation so he's probably a disorganized serial killer vs an organized or mixed serial killer, killing when the opportunity presented itself rather than planning it out/premeditating.
Wait. How did they connect the cases? Innocent until proven guilty.
3 is not serial killer
Actually 3 ‘kills’ at different times is exactly what would qualify someone to be a serial killer
Being charged doesn’t mean he was guilty or did anything wrong.
