ABSOLUTELY STUNNING! BUT UNFORTUNATELY VERY DIFFICULT TO HEAR YOU. I LOVED THE WORK. KEEP GIVING US MORE. I'M A BEGINNER SO THIS LOOKS GREAT. THANK YOU FOR SHARING.
BY THE WAY, I'M IN SOUTH AFRICA. UNFORTUNATELY CAN ONLY GET YUPO HERE. NO OTHER BRANDS AND FOR THIS TECHNIQUE, UNFORTUNATELY THE INK STAINS.
Bev Yates thank you. I know.... sound was bad... I’ll try and make it better in the next video. Yes the ink always leaves stains on yupo, sadly. Nara paper is becoming more and more “famous”, so hopefully it will be available near you soon. And thanks for watching 😃
@@randihart5731 Thanks Randi. I'm looking forward to the next video. Stay safe.
Bev Yates thanks, you too 😃

I love how this works without a hairdryer or air brush. I will try it and see what happens. New subscriber in NE Tennessee, USA. Keep them coming. Be safe.
Little Feather thank you 🙏 yes with this technique a hairdryer doesn’t really work, way to much air/power. Hope you have fun trying this. And hope you stay safe too in Tennessee 😊 (I’m trying to stay safe I Denmark)
Randi, besides gloves do you wear a mask when using alcohol and varnish? I love your art, it always looks amazing 🤩 and I love the way you explain everything from beginning to the end. I have learnt so much from your videos. Thank you 😊 🇨🇦
Sorry for not answering sooner but I’ve been sick for a long time 😊 when using isopropyl you need to wear a mask and have good ventilation
Beautiful work, thank you so much for taking the time to share your wonderful talent.
Thank you and you’re very welcome 😊
Thoroughly enjoyed this video!! I have been struggling with creating fades. I will definitely try your technique. Thank you.

Do you ever paint on canvas? How long have you painted for. You are truly a wonderful instructor and your art is amazing. Thank you for sharing.
Thank you very much 🙏 I don’t paint much on canvas, I like the way it looks on paper better.
I’ve been painting with ink for about 2 and a half years- been painting with acrylics for almost 20 years
Tyfs! I’m going to try this today!
Alli you’re very welcome 🙏 and have fun 😀

Lovely! Very good tutorial! Thank you.
Barb Melcarek thank you and you’re very welcome 😉
I'm so glad I found you on UA-cam. I loved this tutorial. Thanks for sharing your knowledge. What weight nara paper are you using? Does it warp at all?
Thank you very much. It’s 275 gsm. No It doesn’t warp, just only use low heat
Please tell me what apparatus are you using for the alcohol.
Wonderful video!
Thank you 😊 do you mean the little bottle for the alcohol…..?
After subscribing to your Chanel I found my answer in another of your videos.
Thanks
Bebe
@@Brocanteblanc you’re welcome ☺️
Nice tutorial!
Sam's Art Studio thanks so much 🙏
Hiya! What is your little pen that you're using? It looks great!
Hi 👋 thank you. It’s called a fine line applicator. There is a link for it in the description below this video ua-cam.com/video/KLvTOfJbpRQ/v-deo.html
Comes in two different sizes, blue and yellow
That is a great technique. Could you add metallics with it?
Thanks 🙏 yes but it will be a more difficult to make them so round....
Hi , love your bubble work, iv just started with alcohol ink and was wondering what paper you use .? And is there a type of heat gun that’s better to use ? Many thanks , julie
inkyneedkes hi, sorry for the late reply 🙏 I use Nara paper, I think it’s far better than other synthetic papers.
With the heat gun I use one that has different levels, and I usually only use the lowest setting.
What size paper did you use , love this technique. Great video
Thank you 🙏 made this a long time ago.... but think it was 50x70 cm.
@@randihart5731 thanks
So cool, I would have loved to see how you combined the two groups together though for us newbies. 😊
You mean the finished piece...? 👉 ua-cam.com/video/70puGImO6nk/v-deo.html
@@randihart5731 Not so much the finished piece, but how you combined the two sections of bubbles together on the tutorial. I’ll check out the video you posted.
@@randihart5731 Yes, that video was perfect and exactly what I was looking for in regards to what I meant! Thanks 😉

Hvor køber du det der nara papir og dine inks og tak for dine videoer. De er meget behjælpelig
Velbekommen 🙏 jeg køber Nara og copic ink hos www.krealaden.dk
Tak for dit hurtige svar 🎨🖌
@@aperturehunterdenmark velbekommen
Awesome -- what's the name of the paper you use?
Thank you 🙏 I use Nara paper
Awesome. Can you show 2 colours??
cathy mokaraka thanks 🙏 I’ll make a new video soon with more colors
Randi Hedesmann - artist aw. Ty. Look forward to it!!
I notice that the ink doesn't automatically spread on Nara paper. Can you do this technique with other types of paper?
The dark colors don’t spread on Nara, but some of the brighter colors does. Yes you can do this on other types of paper but you might get stains (like on Yupo ) no stains on Nara 😄
Great video, thank you! What heat is your heat gun set on?
You’re welcome. Don’t know specifically, it has 3 different settings, I use the lowest amount of heat
@@randihart5731 Ok, great, thank you!
If you don’t have a HEAT gun….can you dry it with the hair dryer?
do you ever add the metallics to your paintings ?
Heather Riche yes I do 👍 and I love metallics 😍 but with this particular technique it a bit tricky. It’s easier using metallics when you have more ink and isopropyl on the paper to mix it whit
You are using heatgun nicely but my Nara paper gets distorted by heat gun usage. What to do?
I don’t really use my heat gun anymore, but it had different settings so I could use low heat that didn’t ruin the paper.
Now I use a Remington dryer 👍
Hi. I love the video... if u don't mind trouble shooting something for me. I see that when you blow the alcohol into the color, at the other end the alcohol and ink doesn't bleed up. Your line stays put... does it make sense? My line gets pushed up ruining the bubble. I'm staying far from the other end with the blower... thank you
Oana Schultz thank you. Hmm.... I’m thinking there’s probably to much power on your heatgun/hairdryer...... my heatgun has 3 levels and I only use the first level, where the air comes out really “slowly”. So try something with less power. 👍 also make sure there’s not to much isopropyl on the paper, that will make the ink move to much. I hope that helps you 🙏🙏
@@randihart5731 thank you. Maybe it's too much alcohol
Oana Schultz maybe.... try with less and see if it helps 👍
Could you use hairdryer instead of heat gun?
Yes absolutely 😊
How does a heat gun work better than the dryer?
What weight of Nara Paper do you use?
Hi. I'm from india and l m new to ink art. I'll try lots of to creat some art. But I can't. What is the problam. It is in my hair dryer? How much watts shoud use in dryer?
Hi 🙋♀️ maybe 800-1000. Use low amount of air and low heat or cold. But... if you are new to ink, just give it some time and practice a lot. Ink isn’t as easy as it looks
THAT PAPER APPEARS TO BE NICE TOO. ALMOST LOOKS LIKE A LINEN?
It is nice, Nara synthetic paper 📄
So the heat gun doesn't warp the Nara paper? I have never used that paper. Thanks
Sue Taylor there is a little bit of heat... very similar to an blow dryer. If you use a lot of heat I think it might ruin the paper.... 😊
Hello, what paper do you use in this vidéo? thank you
Hi 🙋🏻♀️ it’s Nara paper
@@randihart5731 thanks you 🥰🥰
@@sophiemaurin1925 you’re welcome 😉
Please tell me how many watts your heat gun is
2000 😊
