- So... another new alcohol ink tutorial.
I've had many requests on this topic, so thought it was about time to do a video on how to do ink fades and the wispy look.
I'm showing and explaining my two favorite techniques and I hope you find this useful. Fades can be tricky - but I think that with the right techniques and some practice it will become a lot easier.
As always please leave a comment if you have any questions and you are more then welcome to subscribe to my channel if you would like to see more of my videos.
In this video I used Copic violet, Piñata brass and Nara paper.
Thank you for watching.

Thank you very much 😊 my website is currently only in Danish, sorry 😢
@@randihart5731 No problem. I love your videos and will be using them. I did some alcohol inks a number of years ago but want to work on that whispy effect. Again thank you!
Randi, that is the BEST way that I’ve EVER Seen this explained! You’re a great teacher! Thanks...
I’m so happy to hear that 🙏 thank you very much 😃
Gorgeous! Thanks for the tips really helpful. 😊
You’re very welcome ☺️
Just wanted to say thank you by offering my encouragement...
I'm sure you've been told time and time again, but you are a great teacher. Your instructions are so clear and include information about all of the minute details that other videos fail to mention. It is apparent that you've take the time to recall all of the questions you had in the beginning PLUS all of the answers and resolutions you found for said questions. In my opinion, the addition of those answers is what separates your content from the rest. I'm a bit long winded, but again, thank you
Thank you so much for your kind words ❤️ I’m so glad you like it. I do try to answer all those questions… I had so many of them when I first started with ink
I like your teaching style. Very encouraging. Thank you.

The piece is beautiful! Amazing video 💕
Thank you very much 🙏🥰
Great tutorial best one I’ve seen
Thank you so very much 🙏🙏❤️
I love all your tutorials, maybe I didn’t see it but what exact paper and ink do you use? I am a beginner and my ink leaves bad stains on the paper after drying it. …
I use Nara paper. Yupo paper always stains, Nara never does. I mostly use Copic and Ranger, but doesn’t really matter what brands of ink you use - some papers stain, some don’t. Hope it helps
Love this !!
Thanks 🙏
How did you get the semi circle/ bubble look as pictured in the beginning? The wisp you show is beautiful but it doesn’t resemble the first paintings. Thanks so much.
I have a tutorial with the bubbles 😀 right here ua-cam.com/video/Ud4qS7Zf8Nc/v-deo.html
Hope you like it
Beautifull technic. Can You tell me what is this transparent ink what You using? 🙃
Thank you ☺️ it’s alcohol - you need this to move the ink
@@randihart5731 thx😘😇😇
You’re welcome ☺️
So is the ink just standard acrylic ink with no water added?
The ink is alcohol ink 👍
