Story: About 7-8 years ago, a guy was trying to sell the LGS a perfect Model 60 no dash, but he didn’t like their offer. A week later, I saw the same guy walking out, and the M60 was still sitting on the counter. I snagged it immediately, and still have it. 👍👍👍👍💥
Great story and great gun
👍 That’s a sweet early model 60 in great condition! With the gutter sights and small grips it would fit nicely in a ankle holster or coat pocket.
It would be an awesome ankle gun. Thabk you for watching
A great carry gun. Holds up with any of the new revolvers. Disappears on your side and takes plus p
Yes. It is a perfect revolver
Awesome piece
Thank you
The model 60 is a masterpiece of engineering for its time. My model 36 flat latch is begging for a sister in stainless steel 😊
These flat latches are super cool.
this gun is beautiful
Thank you
The revolver in question is from post-1989 production. This can be seen from the barrel which does not have the locking pin.
I did not know that. I wonder why they did not make a "dash" when this was changed?
@@TerryBenton I have no idea
congratulations for the videos
@@TerryBenton I have an identical one and mine doesn't have any dashes on it either
I had one but sold to to a friend, like a dummy. Still regret it to this day.
Yeah they are really cool guns. Get another one
I really want that gun🥰🥰
You can find them relatively inexpensive if you look around
Quick question: I picked up a S&W model 60 with an unpinned barrel and a removable firing pin hole. Any idea around what year???
Probably in the 1980s I am guessing. I am really not that good at dating Smith revolvers. Is it a no dash?
Is individual a shop?
I bought it from a person
Where did you get it?
I bought it from an individual a long time ago
But I want it brand new not 2hand
This is a Vintage prelock gun. They do make new ones but they are a little different
