Marks a great player. I Watched his guitar messenger video probably 6 or 7 years ago...the chords I learned created a new rennaisance of guitar playing for me.
John & The Gang at Peach - Thank you, Thank you, Thank you, Thank you! I can never get to these events, life always has a way of screwing availability up. Nick and Mark are amazing, and to hear Mark play one of my all time fave songs right at the end... amazeballs... at 48, I can still get the feels. Thanks for filming this for us and for D'Addario for bringing these guys and NYXL's (I am a convert! from another brand I've used for over 20 years) to the uk and letting us see the clinic. Nick & Mark, you rock... can't wait for the new Periphery album now!
Huge nick johnston fan, and now I have a feeling I'll be a huge mark holcomb fan. What is a good periphery album to start with? I really dug that last song.
i suggest peripehry iii, since the first two albums are a bit much to start with (except maybe "Scarlet"). But in general their singles have always been rather catchy, so you could just start off with their youtube music video collection^^
Yeah. Go backwards with the albums. PIII, Alpha/Omega, PII, Self titled. And when you listen to Alpha/Omega, listen to the story. It's a closet album so really pay attention. If you can't figure out like I couldn't, they have an explanation of it on UA-cam.
Wow schecter, that would be the thinnest neck plate of a strat model I've ever seen in life. Eh, Peach, thanks for uploading this. Priceless. You guys rock!
got to have appreciation for a more instrumental type of events Vocalists can be so overrated in a Metal type of project anyway Mark has better taste on Guitars and truly like his tone much more than the one of the other musician i mean i can relate with mark several ways as a composer
In a periphery gear video I guess from like 2017 misha said they play drop C and sometomes downtune the low C to A and that they like to call this tuning drop A
doesn't matter...it's not about that. appreciate both please. or don't! no need to compare. no one is getting an award... p.s. nick johnston is an absolutely amazing and fresh guitar player. the articulation, dynamic, manipulation and knowledge of the instrument is tremendous. love him.
What's this?? A guitar clinic on UA-cam with good audio and video quality?? I guess miracles really do happen! Thanks guys!
That's Peach Guitars to thank, they really didn't skimp out on how good it was.

The amount of genuine enthusiasm for music these guys radiate just makes me happy! Thanks for recording and uploading.
The Mark's tone is amazing with Mesa Boogie!
Do you know what amp he's using? I know it's a Mesa I just don't know the model.
Nevermind TC-50 he just said it after I asked.
Not really, completely flubby and undefined. The complete opposite of what they actually use.
Man, Nick and Mark seem like really great dudes. Awesome players, too!
mofongotron I met Nick in person, he is a really nice guy

What was the song that Nick played at the very beginning of the video ?
Hey! Maybe you descovered by yourself... it’s “Remarkably Human” from the album”Remarkably Human” (2nd track)
This D'Addario Clinic would reach a larger audience, if it were two separate videos for Mark and Nick.
Mark please play pale aura at a clinic sometime. Or that riff similar to it that you play in that positive grid ad. Thanks man.

I swear nick pulls you into his song with his performance and you end up in another world
1:28:28 Piss on me, beat me.
got to have appreciation for a more instrumental type of events
Vocalists can be so overrated in a Metal type of project
anyway Mark has better taste on Guitars and truly like his tone much more than the one of the other musician
i mean i can relate with mark several ways as a composer
I love Mark and all, but isn't Drop A a 7 string tuning? What he's plying in should be called something else.
technically yes ... but it's with a DROPPED low A so therefore drop A
In a periphery gear video I guess from like 2017 misha said they play drop C and sometomes downtune the low C to A and that they like to call this tuning drop A
I can't stand Mark. Ugh 😩
Yeah I think that nick is Better guitar player than mark 😀
doesn't matter...it's not about that. appreciate both please. or don't! no need to compare. no one is getting an award...
p.s. nick johnston is an absolutely amazing and fresh guitar player. the articulation, dynamic, manipulation and knowledge of the instrument is tremendous. love him.

@@mikedervos5974 Mark is one of those guys that don't make we want to pick up a guitar and practice. Nick, however... Lol
