Brilliant demo. Good for trapunto as back of applique is free for filling

Amazing! I love how the needle threads can be pulled out. So convenient for binding-thank you!

Holy cannoli! This thread solves so many problems! I love appliqué, but on baby quilts the appliqué process makes them a little stiff. This should solve that problem, and also help with binding. Fabulous!

Great tutorial! I’d love to see another showing more uses for this thread.

This thread is also used by weavers by throwing a few picks between sections that will later be cut.

I do not have a serger, so I tried it on the seam for my binding, and even though it was a long stitch, it was hard to get it to melt correctly even if ironed on the back side where the bobbin stitch is. It says that it’s great for removing on appliqué, the problem is it actually starts to come out on a seem! So the only way to really use it is as a temporary glue. For a label that’s nice for positioning, but you still need to stitch it in, by hand or by quilting it. For the binding it works ok with a loose thread laid on the inside while you iron it in place but don’t use it in your seam because it won’t hold the seam permanently. In the serger sounds like that It is an over casing finishing but not the Main seam stitch I’ld assume so that might be ok.

Superior Threads - I see there are two types on your website: TEX 35 and TEX 70. What is the difference between them? Weight?
