You have likely seen or heard of this already but there is also an anthropomorphic C11 in the book "Thomas Comes to japan" (: it would be interesting to see if there are any historical references in that book as the story is set on the oigawa railway. I wish I could get a copy of it!
Way to go man, that was a beautiful video you made today. I cannot wait for the next video of yours. Hopefully, the Oigawa Railway will come back to regular service again so that it can do its Day Out With Thomas events once again.
I've watched the whole c11 series and I've really learned alot. I still find it amazing that there are new steam services in Japan. Sadly in Canada where I'm from, there are barely a dozen operational steam locomotives and dropping.
I mean your not wrong, as far as I remember. Cpr 2816 is still being used, it’s just going under its 1472 day inspection. Then there’s that cpr mikado running in Alberta I think. Then cnr 2816. There’s also Waterloo central #9 running near st jacobs food market.
I’ve been watching your videos for some time and WOW! You have got some amazing work here. Your video style is very professional and entertaining. Keep it up!!
Please do another video on the owigawa railway and there thomas characters next one be James and then Percy , hero , rusty and so on . In depressed videos too like there backstories of the engine and what there have was before the Thomas character was put on top of it . Take this into mind please bye now
It’s confusing. That means that in the thomas universe, there are two pretty much exact replicas of northern rock. If thats not a claim to fame, idk what is.
I must admit I am curious about those books about those C11’s but I'm also thankful to you because you gave me inspiration to draw a brand new steam locomotive that I haven't drawn before. I like drawing steam locomotives and turning them into transformer like superheroes but I've only done one locomotive from Japan D51 200 www.deviantart.com/smd2905/art/JNR-D51-200-Tetsudo-no-masuta-911793685 so thank you for the inspiration and all of your heels I have watched so far I have always been excellent!
日本人の鉄道好きとして日本の蒸気機関車を海外の人に紹介してくれるのはとても嬉しいです
As a Japanese train enthusiast, I am very happy to introduce Japanese steam locomotives to overseas people
5:46 Impressive they managed to turn it Thomas with face and moving eyes. Then 5 months later back to its original condition!
Honorable Mentions!!! I LOVE THEM!!!
Another outstanding work! 😊 I admire the work Tobu did to keep this SL in service!

Great video! Now I would like to see the stories of other Japanese SLs like C57 or D51

Oh yeah and there’s a cnr 4-6-0 and I think a cpr 4-4-0 that are in operation still.
There was cnr 6060, cnr 6218 and cnr 6167. But that was like 30 years ago give her take.
There was even a royal Hudson running in Alberta. But that’s all I could remember. There’s probably more that I’m forgetting.

So when The Railway Series and Kikansha Yaemon were put together but still consider as a precursor to Thomas The Tank Engine
The 2 videos were copyrighted 😢
Fascinating stuff. I seen 292 once in 2015 when I visited Japan for the first time

Can you a video like this but about the C56 next?
Pls do a video on the c57😊😊😊
If only 292 could be a small alarm clock to wake me up -^- they need to make a smaller one and blows its whistle when you need to get up. ^^
My middle school teacher has seen with C11 171 around 2015s
5:35 GREAT SCOTT. It's Thomas The Tank Engine. Happy Christmas Mate. X
You should talk about D51 838
Are the names ‘Taro’ and ‘Jiro’ references to the huskies which survived 11 months in the arctic?
