What a great video! But I notice something that might be a hidden detail or a coincidence. The song in the credit sounded a bit of a Japanese video I watched about when JNR switched to JR it sounded like the song from the video called steam locomotive firefly I think but expect in a more piano style instead of whistles.

Between this and the American cartoon "Hell-Bent For Election" (a.k.a. the "FDR streamliner vs. seething coal locomotive") it's funny how so many of these trains with faces were used in political settings back then.

207 is such a sharp tank engine, as all steam locomotives in Japan there always sharp with smoke deflectors and the design, I hope in the US has sharp steam locomotives like Japan but we do have 2-8-4 Berkshires (1225, 765), 4-8-4 Northerns (SP 4449), 2-6-6-2 Challenger (UP 3985), 2-8-2 Mikados (CN 3254, Southern 4501) and D&RGW 2-8-2 Mikados K Series.

Complete lies since Imperial Japan lacked iron amid surpluses of silk and chemicals to have steam fille airships of ceramic sulfur burners and later Noguchi of early 1940s Hamgyong had deuterium fueled rocket gliders.

The 8800 looks like a smaller P8. No wonder Japan liked them, in Germany the P8 was also called 'Girl for Everything' and she did her duty well into the 70's.

Kumamoto's dynamic storage machine 58654 will become obsolete and stop working in 2023, but 8630 in Umekoji, Kyoto, will still be working (I think), so please come and see it in Japan! ! Also, there are some preserved machines even if they don't work, such as the top number 8620 in Ome, Tokyo, so as a Japanese railway lover, I would be happy if you could come and see them (*^^*)
