It feels like someone forgot to put in the handbrake in the initial design and then quickly threw it together later and that's the only place they found enough room for it.
I'm sure that's probably going to change in the final version. After all this is still just the prototype.

Good to see some competition starting up in Electric vehicles. With some improvements in construction quality this could be a very nice car. But as this is a working prototype I expect some rough edges. Great video as always!
Speaking of competition, maybe a version could go to Pike's Peak Hill Climb, and see how it does against the all electric VW that broke the all time record and (thought to be impossible for over 100 years) under 8 minute barrier!

@@Varrig Look up some of the many videos of the feat on the peak - it is NOT a real VW yet a radical low slung prototype built by a specialist in just this one event. While it does roar lie a jet, they make it have a ear hurting 120 db siren I see as a way to hold back electric cars, since they are so quiet.
The point is it took and electric car - with power not affected by altitude (cooling is a problem) to break the record.

It's just a bunch of plastic panels piled up on top of a BMW i3 engine. I'm sure those engineers are very proud of their work, but this car is a sham, just like the Devel Sixteen.

Let me just put you to the looong list of people that have said that cars like those look like the batmobile. First was my uncle who said that a BLACK Aventador looked like the batmobile. Others say the Sesto Elemento looked like it, Reventon, Pagani Zonda and Hyuara, Ferrari FXXK and Enzo, and so far most of those people have died from the cars they mentioned.

This is only possible in american kit-cars and garage projects such as these. Because there is NO WAY this home built contraption would pass crash testing or health & safety approval.
you should remember it is an electric car no fuel meaning its hardley going to catch fire in an event of a crash

@@agnesleboea4429 The batteries are probably a variation of lithium ion or polimer. They can catch fire and explode if ruptured. Lots of Teslas caught fire before their battery pack was reinforced. This car hasn't had a crash test yet so who knows if it's safe in that regard.

They overdesigned it. Some details look babyish and perfect for a Batmobile, especially at the back.
But overall I like it.
They should work on quality though.

@@madalinalexandru4303 Front splitter and the entire rear end. Not only there are more segments than needed, but those lines hardly match each other.
The car was pretty obviously inspired by the RedBull X2010 and some Lamborghinis, two things that i like. But they decided to stuff in more things, totally unnecessary, in a randomic way.
@@jorehir Yeah the car is looking a bit wired especially from the side. The wheelbase feels a little bit too long and the some lines of the car is just put together, like the region above the rear wheel is curvy while the most of the car is sharp lining....not to mention the ugly two "ears" on the F1 style rear wing.....The linkage of the hood section is also looks kinda weak for a 1200 bhp car
