I installed my CVF catted down-pipe, this past Sunday. It was a easy install after I watched your video, what sucks is I needed two three inch clamps, a step down clamp was in my box, I used two three inch hose clamps towards the back of the system, no leaks! Have two clamps ordered to replace the hose clamps. As for as sound with no resonator and stock mufflers. 👍👍👍 There is more, woke my 9,500 mile 2020 eco-boost stang up! I have a larger intercooler, along with a older Cobb unit not updated set to stage one 91 octane.
I did a pass on the back roads not far from me. It was rolling, did 110 mph at the end of the 1/4. on the built in computer. Now to take it o the track soon hopefully! Thanks!

Nice video. I was hoping for a cold start, but that is okay. Also, how do you get a 3' adaptor from CVF if I want to go with the 2.25 first and then upgrade the exhaust later.
You don’t need to upgrade your exhaust system you’re just changing out the downpipe witch is good because when you want to get a cat back you can.

Yes sir. You get everything you need to get the job done.
@@TOUGHBUILDSCUSTOMS okay great. When I went to the website to look at it, the downpipe had different selections on adapting to the exhaust either the 2.25 or 3.0. For the price I am highly pleased.
So basically, it asks you if you want the adapter that’s comes with the package but you want to make sure that the adapter they send you is 2.5 to 3 inch.
How did this affect the fuel mileage? I have one to install on my 2020 Eco boost mustang. Along with the resonator delete pipe, will keep the stock mufflers on car. Thanks for the video.
Didn’t affect the gas mileage at all. You’re going to love it the sound is great.
What did you torque the stud nuts to, Any leaking? I’ve read factory torque specs(30lb). I also read that the flat flanged down pipes should be Atleast 35lbs… so I’m curious.
Yes the flange that meets the turbo needs to be torqued down to 35lbs. If you want 30 is okay to once you torque down the bolts and it’s all together start it up and listen to hear any whistling if so it needs to be tightened to 38lbs.
Great video. Mine threw a code. Can you please provide the link to the adapter you think would work best? I noticed, too, that the downstream sensor wires are very close the the transmission. So, will this adapter help with that? Would taking it to Autozone and having them reset the code help?
Resetting the code will do nothing as it is an O2 sensor. It’s gonna come right back on. It’s called a j style bung. You can buy them anywhere doesn’t have to be the expensive ones. @@TOUGHBUILDSCUSTOMS Also, remote start is no longer working. The horn just beeps. Could this be because of the error code?
Yes when the check engine light is on it won’t allow you to remote start the vehicle. Once you get that j style bung put it in unplug your battery then wait a hour normally it’s 24 hours to fully wipe the computer. But one hour should be fine. The light will be off once you plug your battery back in.

Negative. It shouldn’t lock itself wasn’t programmed to.
I recently tried to install my Downpipe and it was smaller than the OEM Downpipe. What measurements did you use to connect the 3 pieces to the clamps for the exact fit?
The clamps come with the downpipe this is a 3inch down pip. You would use 3inch clamps if they didn’t come with it already
Does the catted version of this down pipe require a tune?
No tune Required. it's always a good idea to get tuned. I had to tune because of other modifications that require tuning
So do I need a tune if I'm stock with just this downpipe
No this downpipe doesn’t require a tune because it’s catted. It’s always a good idea to tune it because that’s where you will get your power from. Now say your non-catted you will need a tune for the car to run right.
Do you have to put the donut gasket back on or does the new gasket you put on replace it
No the donut gasket can’t be used for this downpipe you need the upgraded on I should in this video to help you not get leaks:
Hello sir, just wondering will a o2 sensor spacer so it wouldn’t throw a code?
Should need one with these downpips. In any other cated car yes a bun is needed to stop the codes witch is very Illegal to do with fines up to 15k keep that in mind.
