Unfortunately, Marcus is symbolic of everything which has been wrong with the club for the last ten years. Underperforming, overpaid, should have parted ways with the club years ago but because of sentimentality he's been kept around. Expensive deadwood. When the club is trying to move forward, raise the standards and comply with FFP... You can't have underperforming big names becoming squad players on massive wages. Everything about his life seems wrong at the moment, so a fresh start is the best thing for everyone. I wish him all the best but it should have happened years ago. His numbers (goals) have never been good enough for a Man United forward.
Rashford is expensive deadwood? He cost £0 ffs. His wage was negotiated and earned through his own sweat. I wonder what you think of Rasmus, who cost £72m. He’s symbolic of an era, post Fergie, where young players constantly fall out of love with football. We see it with Maguire, Martial, Sancho, Lingard, Januzaj, Di Maria and now Rashford In post Fergie era, his numbers are up there with legends. In his time at Utd, the club were incompetent at football management and fans lashed out at the players.
No united player has matched Rashfords goal and assist tally the last few years. What about the rest of the squad? Football is a team sport, individual performances are Linked to the collective. United finished 8th in the premier league last year, and are 12th currently. There isn't a single player in the squad who has lived up to his contract or the clubs history. We can already see Sancho performing at Chelsea, in a team well built. Knowing his wages, it Will be just like Jaden Sancho, who is going to score goals for the club until the summer? Let's stop lying to ourselves, Rashford Will have suitors, just like Harvertz, Joao Felix, Etc had suitors. Who is United bringing on in January,or who are the players currently in the squad United can rely upon for the 2nd half of the season to be up to that task? Let's be real, We need Rashford, at least until the summer window.
Rashford is sadly a product of his environment, he’s part of that post Fergie self entitled victim mentality era that systematically ran through the club from the likes of Pogba and Jesse Lingard, i don’t just think its a man utd problem specifically though its a wider problem with how society has gone now, with players on far too much money, having too much power and growing up with the toxicity of social media, its why we don’t see as many leaders in the game anymore, most of them no longer have the determination and drive to be great anymore because they’re given everything to young and don’t have to earn it in the same way the previous generation had to with the likes of Becks, Scholes, Neville etc, had he came through the academy a decade earlier things might have been different because he would have been breaking into a team of winners with incredibly high standards.

This isn't the manager's decision. This is Rashford's decision. He could have just said I am going to work hard hard show the manager that I am too good to leave out but instead he's said nah, I don't really fancy it - which is what it's looked like for the last few years with his body language and performances on the pitch.
Adieu Rashford. If you can't improve your performance, leave. We need space for better players. Kobbie Mainoo, lad we all know you've got the ability to play better than your current shabby performance. Run more, tackle more, distribute better passes, we have seen you done these well when you started player in the first team. You’ll either improve or be the next to leave. E.g, see how maguire is improving after we all came for his head, we want same improvement from EVERYONE. We must demand more from all these players turning lazy.
He gaslights. He always has, always will. Some emotional fans fall for it. It's sad. I used to once be a fan, but it is so easy to see through his gimmick. Needs to go and we need to stop with the "aw poor Marcus" narrative. Enough is enough.
Why does everyone act like they are so sure of everything 🤣🤣🤣 we don't know anything but whatever comes out. Clearly if you think enough, he doesn't suit the new system
Everyone gets a fresh start under the new gaffer, i think that its the pressure from the fan base. Marcus is a born and raised Man United fan and footballer. Fan base needs to chill and let him prove us all wrong. GGMU
Rashford needs to grow up and except what the manager says. He’s lucky to get a 5yr deal worth 350k a week he definitely isn’t worth that amount of money
Rashford should have left ages ago he was never fully committed. Actually inconsistent and not world class at all. We sold Welbeck and let’s be honest he put in a better shift than Rash.
The club literally told journalists last week that Rashford was going to be up for sale in January. That's all the justification he needs- besides, lets all not pretend like Marcus leaving hasn't been on the cards and what "fans" have been shouting about for months.
Please bear in mind folks….Nicky Butt and I made a mental note of this on 6th October said Ten Bob still needed more time… These ex players are so protective of their ex player status their like politicians. I remember EVENTUALLY Rio told a story of Moyes saying ‘bliiidddy hell this is a big club’ and also we remember the ‘the blood drained from my face’ quote Ten hag also looked out his depth and didn’t find a nugget of transcending wisdom at his first press Rubin said ‘I’m at the right place’ and more crucially ‘It’d won’t change me’ these sound like subtle themes but these are light years from ALL the other managers except Maureen…who players couldn’t enough of get on board coz the game moved on… Keane said already he’s a clever cookie…add to that class act
Rashford going makes a statement. If you ain’t doing it all. You ain’t at the club. This a warning shots to everyone. If it can happen to manc born and bread it can happen to any of you! This is how we should be moving. Not keeping players on goodwill and hope. We need the best players in the league.
I hate this favourite position agenda. A good player can play anywhere because it's the same fundamentals: Don't lose the ball, pass well etc. Put Messi in CB and watch him do magic there.
This guy has been on silly money most of his career. It's almost impossible to stay humble. I think wages should be capped for teenagers and early 20's, just for their own good. It's ridiculous money
Very true. Rashford should have spoken. He's using Winter as a mouthpiece. Then the spin happens. Apparently he was sick on Monday and wasn't dropped...
Sick Monday, sent home, Tuesday, he uses feeding kids as an excuse to give an unsanctioned interview. Utd should pay out his contract, take the loss and move on. We can't have viruses in the club
Rio!! Are you rashford PR manager??? All this monologue is reflecting very bad on you as an ex player. United should be moving forward instead of dwelling on players who failed to reach their full potential and rised above fair expectations. The rashford obsession is turning very toxic for the club, but no one wants to admit it.
I can’t see how he is going to leave before his contract expires. He’s on the same money as guys like Salah, de Bruyne and Haaland! Which club outside of the Saudi Pro League is going to offer him a deal anywhere close to what he’s on now?
The best thing for the club and fans is that he has got about 3 years left on his contract. Which means, we can get a couple of good players in his place. Somebody like Diallo on the left wing and a Gyokeres maybe?
It’s a team game and Rashford isn’t doing his part for the team for the most part. I bet the stats says he loses the ball more than everyone as per appearances. Then he doesn’t defend like it’s required. If he believes he’s an adaptable player then buckle up and prove it.
Completely agree with your opening comments. Often with quotes the context and order of his comments can be re-ordered and that can change the impact. Perhaps Rashford is nervous around doing video interviews. Perhaps the online reactions that he’s had in the past has made him think twice about that. Rashfords football confidence and passion to play seems to have gone and the only person that can tell us why that is, is Marcus. The whole thing is sad. Very sad that it’s come to this.
The fact that he chose to go public and play the victim TWICE in a year instead of keeping his head down and working hard to regain his form is very telling. Also, on the Player Tribune he said that he was fully committed to United and anyone who doubted that simply didn't know him. But now he's ready to move on to "a new challenge?" Make it make sense
I was having a laugh when Wayne Rooney once said he was expecting Marcus Rashford to be the one to break his goalscoring Record at Manchester United Playing for Man United and Registered Your Name on the Legendary status of the club isn't for bang of average and over pampered players like Marcus Rashford He should go for the sake of his career cos there's no turning back at this stage of his career and he'll be remembered as of the couple of players who were born and bred at Man United Nothing More Again Goodbye Marcus Wishing You All the Best
Compared to Thrashford Magguire is a well deserving player who just put in the efforts and is on an upward trajectory. Waiting to see Garnacho's next move
Marcus hasn’t been showing the effort on the pitch. Regardless of the situation you have your own brand and most all the United badge. He also isn’t the best talker so not surprised he’s not made a video. He’s never been able to conduct a message like a Bellingham. I think it’s best for all if he goes. We need young hungry players
A real shame all this. So much talent, I saw him play as a boy and he loved Football. That love and desire seems to be zapped out of him. He's not recovered from all his friends leaving, Sancho and co. A new challenge is the best solution now. Let's hope he and the club get a good outcome and his new club get the best version of Marcus.
The team selection against Man City away was questionable again. The team should have been: Onana, Yoro/Maguire, DeLigt, Martinez, Dalot, Ugarte, Bruno, Mazraoui, Amad, Hojlund & Rashford/Mount. Subs: Bayindir, Maguire, Yoro, Malacia, Amass, Eriksen, Rashford, Gernacho, Zirkzee & Antony We expect an away win as long as Amorim chose a team to win against the opposition instead of trying to contained them in the game. Rio is right, Rashford won the damn lotto by being an Academy Grad to play for his Senior team and isnt acting like it. I hope he stays but man hes not been up to it for a while now.
At any level in football be it premier league or 5 a side with your mates, the least you can do is show desire. Rashford has shuffled round the pitch looking like he couldn't care less for the last 2 years. He's afraid of contact and avoids challenges. His team mates must be so frustrated that he's got away with it for so long
I honestly don't get why fans are so critical of Marcus, yeah he's had two bad seasons in like 10 years at club. He's not alone though everyone at the club are had terrible seasons at the time.
@Angel-jh4ok If you're comparing Rashford to Messi & Ronaldo maybe, but just look at the numbers 131 goals and assists from 2016-2021 how exactly up until he actually had a bad season in 21/22 😂 I have no idea why you want to rewrite history. Just for context Rooney had 148 goals and assists at 24 for United, Rashford had 137 despite playing in a much worse United side.
@Angel-jh4ok I'm just not understanding how you think any of his seasons were bad? Obviously the 21/22 was a terrible season when he come back from shoulder injury, a stress fracture in his back and an injured ankle & last season was another bad season but the whole United squad were terrible in both those seasons with United finishing 6th & 8th in those two seasons. It's not like everyone else were performing and Rashford was the only player below their previous standards.
Rashford needs to recognise that his current pay doesn't match his current value. If he wants to make a move & kickstart his career, he will probably need to take a pay cut. I really hope he can revitalise somewhere new, maybe somewhere a little less in the spotlight.
I honestly think Rashford has been talking to a club and they dont wanna pay the asking price so he's come out with this interview like Ronaldo did to force Uniteds hand to accept a reduced deal or have him sulking round the club! Watch him have an argeement with PSG or Saudi already
Mourinho, Solskjaer, Rangnick, Ten Hag, Amorim and Southgate have all criticized him for his work ethic, commitment to football, and or his overall attitude. He’s making no attempt to prove to the manager that he has the desire to get back to his best. We need to get back to excellence and accountability and unfortunately, Rashford doesn’t seem to want it anymore. I hope he’s ok, and wish him all the best, but it’s time to go
I really think he is dealing with a serious personal issue. I know the performances have been bad etc and that is within people’s right as fans to criticize his on field performances. But something just seems off man. Not making excuses for him it just seems like he has severe depression or some other personal issue that is compounded currently.
It’s shame that there are more headlines about rashford than Maguire when in fact rashford has been one the key players in united’s success for years and Maguire has been worst player. Sancho and rashford have not been treated as well as Maguire unfortunately

It was like Pogba's situation. 18m salary for a year, and he just play for 10 games in a season.
You had to use Mclaren instead
We see it with Maguire, Martial, Sancho, Lingard, Januzaj, Di Maria and now Rashford
In post Fergie era, his numbers are up there with legends.

Stop making excuses Rio, the guy doesn't want to work hard.
He needs to go knew his PR team would say something and make him look like a victim he’s not been good for 18 months
Not everything’s PR be glad you got your wish he’s leaving
Saying he hasn't been good for 18 months is being nice to him.
300k a week, you won’t get a better job than that anywhere in the world, that you’re not willing to give 100% to such job is criminal
Good upper body strength to the person holding the camera for you Rio!! LOL
Rashford should have left ages ago he was never fully committed. Actually inconsistent and not world class at all. We sold Welbeck and let’s be honest he put in a better shift than Rash.
I hate the fact that he granted an unofficial interview. That doesn’t have any justification.
The club literally told journalists last week that Rashford was going to be up for sale in January. That's all the justification he needs- besides, lets all not pretend like Marcus leaving hasn't been on the cards and what "fans" have been shouting about for months.
Can anyone tell just what all this fuss is for about him??
Tommy doc would now be classing him as,a very ordinary footballer
Please bear in mind folks….Nicky Butt and I made a mental note of this on 6th October said Ten Bob still needed more time…
These ex players are so protective of their ex player status their like politicians.
I remember EVENTUALLY Rio told a story of Moyes saying ‘bliiidddy hell this is a big club’ and also we remember the ‘the blood drained from my face’ quote
Ten hag also looked out his depth and didn’t find a nugget of transcending wisdom at his first press
Rubin said ‘I’m at the right place’ and more crucially ‘It’d won’t change me’ these sound like subtle themes but these are light years from ALL the other managers except Maureen…who players couldn’t enough of get on board coz the game moved on…
Keane said already he’s a clever cookie…add to that class act
Get him on the show Rio
Rashford going makes a statement. If you ain’t doing it all. You ain’t at the club. This a warning shots to everyone. If it can happen to manc born and bread it can happen to any of you!
This is how we should be moving. Not keeping players on goodwill and hope. We need the best players in the league.
I hate this favourite position agenda. A good player can play anywhere because it's the same fundamentals: Don't lose the ball, pass well etc. Put Messi in CB and watch him do magic there.
thats not how football works
@abumonjur3571 Rasford best season(2021/22), he played mostly as CF which is not his favourite position. So tell us how football works mate
Love the way you see things and say it how it is too. Top man.
The new challenge for Rashford would be a significant wage cut - would he be up to that challenge? the high wage killed his body language
Sick Monday, sent home,
Tuesday, he uses feeding kids as an excuse to give an unsanctioned interview. Utd should pay out his contract, take the loss and move on. We can't have viruses in the club
Is the video of Rash walking away from supporters on the pitch what it looks like?
Rio!! Are you rashford PR manager??? All this monologue is reflecting very bad on you as an ex player. United should be moving forward instead of dwelling on players who failed to reach their full potential and rised above fair expectations. The rashford obsession is turning very toxic for the club, but no one wants to admit it.
People losing their jobs at United:🗿
Rashford wanting to leave before he gets kicked out: 🗣️
I can’t see how he is going to leave before his contract expires.
Rio they’re making Rashford the scapegoat for Amorim’s poor start to the season.
Fantastic news for United fans
Much love Rio 🔥
I'd take him at Napoli, but those wages...
Why don’t you have him on?
I doubt he’d come on, he won’t want to answer the questions Rio will have for him.
Rashford, 27 YO, the eternal prospect. 350k/Week, Amad 28k/Week.
Rashford has no legacy 😂
Penalty against PSG
@@aquenture That's his job!
I was having a laugh when Wayne Rooney once said he was expecting Marcus Rashford to be the one to break his goalscoring Record at Manchester United
Playing for Man United and Registered Your Name on the Legendary status of the club isn't for bang of average and over pampered players like Marcus Rashford
He should go for the sake of his career cos there's no turning back at this stage of his career and he'll be remembered as of the couple of players who were born and bred at Man United
Nothing More Again Goodbye Marcus Wishing You All the Best
Just open your eyes and you can see the reason It’s not the manager it’s Rashford himself.
Rashford will smash it WHEVER EVER he goes!! He just needs a fresh start. Love him, but he has to go and start the next chapter. I wish him well.
Compared to Thrashford Magguire is a well deserving player who just put in the efforts and is on an upward trajectory. Waiting to see Garnacho's next move
Rio using the "Fire" MU jacket
Subs: Bayindir, Maguire, Yoro, Malacia, Amass, Eriksen, Rashford, Gernacho, Zirkzee & Antony
We expect an away win as long as Amorim chose a team to win against the opposition instead of trying to contained them in the game.
Unfortunately Gernacho & Rashford wasn't in the squad due to focusing reasons.
Well Done Amad & team!
That was the game against Man City where Amorim came of Age!
If it was up to Us we would keep Rashford & get in touch with his Daddy to get his focus back!
Who tf are you to school Amorim on sqad selection
Wtf are you again? 😂
@@tomekkaminski2677 Concerning our last Home & away games
We expect a win against Arsenal & Notts Forest unfortunately Amorim chose a team to contained the opposition instead of trying to win the game. Gernacho is not a starter, at present bench player at best. Rashford should get priority in that position, Mazraoui should start as wingback. Amad should start right winger!
Amorim has No Excuse cos he should have carried on from where Ruud Van Nisteroy left off. We're 8 point down from where we should be cos we already have the players to choose from!
We've been watching this game since England's men's last success in a sense before you were born, Son!
@@nosakhareanthony97 Ask Ole!
glad you've said the key words " club has a meeting says rashfords for sale " alot of people are missing this point.. so its ok for them to say it, but not ok for wanting to leave.. EVEN though all the fans have been saying get out my club.. then when he says yep ill leave WOAH wait dont say that
Marcus needs to put his head down and play his way into higher value and a decent transfer. It’s best for both parties…
Harry Maguire fought his way into the squad. Rashford chose to run away at the first hint of trouble.
I remember Rooney wanting to leave.. Marcus will get some love from Amorim and he'll come good just like Rooney did under sir alex
@@SWGOHWARS-66 Rooney was world class player Rash is average
Yes Rooney best striker in prem back then held United to ransom.
Yes you’re both right In what you’re saying about different quality levels but I think the best way to “unlock” rashford is to give him some love. No matter where he goes in his career his issues will follow him. It’s now clear it wasn’t ten Haags fault as he’s still sulking..
Rooney was world class Marcus isn’t
@@obitriceforlife5771yup doesn’t make a difference you should give every player encouragement he’s clearly not doing well
He's had more than enough time to be consistent for united he's on massive money because he's meant to be the top player at united amd hasn't performed...this is.man united if you don't step up your out that should apply to everyone...we wish him well
Would love marcus rashford at Plymouth Argyle. i think he can achieve his goals and dreams their
A new challenge ? Maybe he wants to step his effort up and feed the world
As a footballer I feel you always have the power to control any narrative, on the pitch.
That's your place we're no one can touch you, no keyboard warriors etc.
Too much bad PR for me.
More like 3 good seasons in 10 years
2 good seasons in 10 tell me what he did in the other eight then
@Angel-jh4ok If you're comparing Rashford to Messi & Ronaldo maybe, but just look at the numbers 131 goals and assists from 2016-2021 how exactly up until he actually had a bad season in 21/22 😂 I have no idea why you want to rewrite history. Just for context Rooney had 148 goals and assists at 24 for United, Rashford had 137 despite playing in a much worse United side.
@@jamesthomas6164 when did I mention I Ronaldo and Messi are you ok 🙄
Ngl the first 15 seconds is the whole video save yourself 6 min 😂
Attitude shapes performance, and actions always speak louder than words. Rashford is falling short on both fronts.
I honestly think Rashford has been talking to a club and they dont wanna pay the asking price so he's come out with this interview like Ronaldo did to force Uniteds hand to accept a reduced deal or have him sulking round the club! Watch him have an argeement with PSG or Saudi already
i agree rio with everything you said
Mourinho, Solskjaer, Rangnick, Ten Hag, Amorim and Southgate have all criticized him for his work ethic, commitment to football, and or his overall attitude. He’s making no attempt to prove to the manager that he has the desire to get back to his best.
We need to get back to excellence and accountability and unfortunately, Rashford doesn’t seem to want it anymore.
I hope he’s ok, and wish him all the best, but it’s time to go
Please do an interview with him
Ive always had a hunch hell end up at inter milan no clue why it was in a dream of mine i can see him tearing the left side up in italy
Been going on too long , needs to go asap
At least half of the players are not fit to play for Man U. That team is not ready even in the next 5 years with these current players.
I really think he is dealing with a serious personal issue. I know the performances have been bad etc and that is within people’s right as fans to criticize his on field performances. But something just seems off man. Not making excuses for him it just seems like he has severe depression or some other personal issue that is compounded currently.
No Pogba,Rashford,Sancho anymore, and i dont ever want to see these kind of players again to play for the club i support
Dude!!! Let me go help him packing up.
one season wonder superstar constantly making news . His EPL goals 2015/2016 - 5 goals, 2016/2017 - 5 goals, 2017/2018 - 7 goals, 2018/2019 - 10 goals, 2019/2020 - 17 goals, 2020/2021 - 11 goals, 2021/2022 - 4 goals, 2022/2023 - 17 goals, 2023/2024 - 7 goals.
It’s shame that there are more headlines about rashford than Maguire when in fact rashford has been one the key players in united’s success for years and Maguire has been worst player. Sancho and rashford have not been treated as well as Maguire unfortunately
Every player who left man utd ... actually starts playing their best football like jadon, scott mctominoy.
cause they cant handle the pressure of playing for a club like man utd.
Leme guess rio wants rashford to stay
Despite its clear his time is up,the fans have had enough, the situation is toxic but rio wants him to stay
He shouldn't play another game for the club.... The manager has repeated this as well It's not just about scoring goals it's about the performance
Rio , even you wouldn’t have excelled at this Utd , as a life long Utd fan I would want my family members to play for Utd at this time . The club is a shambles there’s no heart and soul left just a pr business
We need players who give everything and have the attitude and behaviour of a united player. It's just not there with Rashford.
Its all about attitude at the end of the day, your stats could be how great in the past, presently he haven't been good!! All he need to do is humble himself and start back doing the basic to get back to his best, for himself and club
good. his time has been up. all potential and no production. see ya
I feel like Paul Pogba caused some rot within the squad,,,and all those players should be pushed out,,,,please Rashford,,,,leave ,,,go to everton go flex your ego in fenerbache,,,go dress like a hiphop rapper ,,,,cause for the amount of money you earn a week,,,,you cant be making no excuses
It’s ending the way he deserves it to end rio 2 good seasons in 9
If he respected the fans like you say the least he would do is try when hes on the pitch. He dont even respect them enough to do that
thats a good news.. very very good
